In the Blue TFF layout, the Quick Reply box and Advanced Reply are lighter and looks out of place. Did you intend them to be as such?

I'm still getting used to the new styles, but nonethless, great work you two.

That, as well as the new dark, were just quick skin recolorations done by Fuzz. They were thrown together to please the members whose retinas burn at the mere thought of a white background -- neither of them were tweaked to the extent of the one that Merlin released yesterday.

They may or may not be fixed. They're just temporary recolors until we upgrade TFF to the latest vB release anyway. After that, there will be more thorough skins created with Merlin's layout.

Alsome job Merlin and Fuzz. I'm currently using the New TFF (Wide) version and I love it.

Since im using the Laptop atm, im on Widescreen so the effect is even better.. but as pointed out above I can see the tiny pixel or few un-alignment in the header image to the center/right.

No biggie though.

Arus - No didn't intend on the quick reply/advanced reply colors to be so out of place, I fixed it on Blue TFF, thanks.

And Loco - you hit it right on the nail, these last 2 styles were quick ones to please the dark fans out there. Once we get the new upgrade up there will be more thorough styles along w/ other additions.

I also can't see the tiny alignment problem of the header image on New TFF (Wide)... good eyes everybody and Stream thanks for the screenshot, but for some reason I'm not getting it on either of my browsers.

I made a little HP guage next to the EXP bar on NEW DARK... It is a trial run, if it works out, I'll put it on the other 2 new styles. It simply tells you how active you are... when you gain levels, your MAX HP will rise. If you fail to make atleast 5 posts per day, your HP will start to fall. I thought it was pretty cool to add, after all we had that old activity rating % on the old dark.

I think the 2nd bar makes things look too cluttered, but that is just me. Hell... look I'm almost DEAD! haha

Dang you make the TFF more fun than it was when I first came here! I thought the HP guage was used in RPs or RPBs.

It would be quite cool to incorporate that with the RP/RPB section some how but I understand thats probably quite complicated.

But if it were somehow possible, maybe it could be made real...just a thought.

im loveing the new look vary vary nice hehe who ever though this one up should be greatly camneded for thwere hard work with the vb code systems and that sort.

Flip the HP and the EXP around and it'll look a lot better and more like a FF bar.

I have no plans of adding a RP hack... they bog down the forums extensively... It would require extensive code modification to integrate the RPB forum into a hack an in the end take away from the story, IMHO. You'd no longer have to really write something good... just post some bland one-liner and mash 'attack'.

I think hacks should be used to add useful features that people will use and appreciate over time... not for adding novelties that lose their appeal after someone finds how to cheat the system. The best hacks are those you don't even realize are there.. until you go somewhere else and wonder why the feature isn't available. ^_^

It's an obsessive-compulsive thing with Fuzz.. *cough*

Ceasar said he was interested in making different color schemes for the finished layout, so you just might see some color variety in the future. I won't swear to it, because he has his own 'niche' now on the site... ^_^

Changing colors around isn't too hard, it's just time-consuming to make it look good. There's a LOT of color settings.. as you probably noticed from the goof-up with menu colors. They have their own special style which is separate from the index, threads, etc.
