As many saw in the TGS 09 trailer for Final Fantasy XIII, there was a female I'Cie working for Cocoon; that woman and her summoned have been identified. The woman is called Oerba Yun Fang and her summon will be Bahamut. If any have caught on already, there is another character that has "Oerba" in her name - Oerba Dia Vanille. This could either be that they are related in some way or that "Oerba" is a common name. When has there been a common name in a Final Fantasy? I can't recall any which leads me to believe that they are likely related. Inventory | Nice find, you beat me to it. It's strange that two characters have the same name, but whatever. She looks like the Dragoon of the game, which is awesome. Is that supposed to be Bahamut in that small picture with his claws thrust out as he roars? It looks like a big design change to me and I don't see wings. I wonder what Bahamut's Gestalt mode is going to be, a minivan? Oh, one more thing, this Oerba is the hottest FF character since Rikku....just sayin....

Inventory | Agreed she looks like a Dragoon... Lightning isn't hot imo... I just don't see her as that attractive from a sexual point of view.I see her more as a fighter.. Vanille and the other girl/Lightning's sister whose name I seem to have momentarily forgotten.... seem juvenile to me..they lack something so I don't see them as sexually attractive either .They remind me of Penelo in a way... This dark girl seems more appealing although she isn't a turn on either..more like another fighter... Not that I'm looking for FF to be a turn on.I'm just hoping for a good story with strong personalities and a well written story. | ||||||||||||

Inventory | There have been a bunch of scans released for FF XIII, and in those scans it looks like Oerba Yun Fang is a playable character. The scans also show Bahamut in both modes. In another article from this website, FF XIII will not have a mandatory install for the PS3, it will have trophies, and the only time players will see load times, which are minimal, will be when transitiong from town to field; once the player is in the field the game will be seamless.
