Opinions on Sazh

What do you think of Lighting's partner Sazh?? I'm happy there is going to be some comic relief in this otherwise serious and dark story, as long as he doesn't go over board. By the way, whenever I see him, I always have that old song "Disco Duck" Playing in my mind. Try it: look up Disco Duck on youtube and then watch a cutscene with Sazh!

His oufit is ok but his fighting style maybe interesting; two guns can lead to some goodness. The baby chocobo is quite funny it reminds me of when Peter (Family Guy) had birds nesting in his beard. I heard that Sazh is supposed to have the most lines in the game. A final bit of info I saw in a magazine (can't remember) that his name was changed to Suds; now I hope this is not what it will be in NA for I much prefer Sazh.

Comic relief is always great if done well: Bartz and Galuf, Gilgamesh, Kefka, Laguan, Quina, Balthier, and I found the decision you could make in Midgar quite funny to name a few.

I find comic relief to be a good addition to a game. People enjoy laughing and having a good time, it creates fond memories being able to look back and laugh. As long as the comic relief is well placed I have no problem otherwise it diminishes the game.

im glad to hav him around a nice lil relief every now and then ecpecailly in ta sum of the more serious moments wuld be gr8ly appreciated at least 4 me. and its kinda nice to hav a black guy as a main character 4 once in a game not about crime

He has a Baby Chocobo in his Afro, that acts like its Nest...LOL Thats Freaking Hilarious, but overal, not bad.

He's gonna be fricken' awesome. The only thing I have a problem with is the chocobo because it really takes away from his look in my opinion, and also is too unusual. Seems like forced "comedy". I for one, won't find it funny.. but I guess others will. But seeing as he is my favorite character we know of so far, it really sucks that, that chocobo will forever annoy me. It will probably keep him from being one of my favorites of all time if they over-use it or make it too important. I wouldn't be as mad about it if I knew it wouldn't really play much of a role in the game.

Yup, another black character in the FF series. It's been around ten years since there last was a black (obviously Barret) so it's good to see that. He seems to be the one who keeps everyone's spirits high so I think he'll be my fave character if not Snow or Hope.

Final fantasy really knows comic relief. I've always loved the sense of humor all of the games have. I think that Sazh is going to be really awesome. It's even been said that he's "supposed to be different from any other character in the series." And he better be good because I also heard that "Sazh will have the most lines in the game."
As for Hina (his chocobo), I think she is going to be good too. I look forward to seeing how she'll fight in battle. Maybe like Angelo or Interceptor.
All in all, I don't think we can really judge for sure just yet. We'll just have to wait and see.

He reminds of Jansen from Lost Odyssey, the only character in the game who brings comedic values to the game, whereas the rest are pretty damn serious. It'll be funny to see what he has to say and do in FFXIII. Sazh = Awesome.

sazh looks to be a very promising character in the game.

hes good friends with lightening and i think that their will be alot of funny moments between the two.

as far as his abilities and fighting style go i think we can all have alot to look forward too
