Lets see hold off a game for 5-7 years, ummm no I don't think I will be joining you on this one.

I figure this is a joke but really on here I don't think many people are going to play along with this one.

Why not make a VII remake petition for PS7 also.

Yeah... this is a terrible idea. Sony said the PS3 is going to have a ten year tenure, just like the PS2 will. The PS3 launched in 2006, meaning a launch of the PS4 in 2013 at the earliest. I don't think we want to wait that long.

Besides... if FFXIII doesn't come out until then, what are they going to do with the series in the meantime? OH WAIT, MORE CRAPPY SPINOFF IDEAS, YEAH, AWESOME

Assuming they even make such a device. The outlook for any PS4, is dimming considerably. By ten years, who's to say that Sony will be interested in remaining in the gaming industry.

However, It must be admitted...that was a horrible idea. What could they possibly add to this entry in ten years that would make it worth such a wait? As for a VII remake...I was hoping they'd do it before the PS3 becomes outdated.

Well....That's not quite true. Sony computer entertainment will lunch The PS4 in the 2010. I used to have the article but of course before I format my PC

About lunching FFXIII on the PS4...well..My opinion is..It's a crappy idea. For every PS generation there should be at least 3-4 FF games. That way we'll enjoy the games and will sure buy those consuls...By that "Sony" can steal our money while we are laughin

Sure, why not hold off Final Fantasy XIII until PS4. It'll probably suck just as much as Final Fantasy X, XI, and XII. I see no problem with this. Another thing that they could do would be to just remake all the old Final Fantasies for PS3, because the way things have been going, those are the only ones that were any good. After that, they could discontinue the series before they run it even further into the ground.

Whether this is your naivete, or you trying to cause more controversy on the subject of Final Fantasy 13 is beyond me, but let me convey to you why this is a bad idea.

You can't just "Port" Final Fantasy 13 to another console above the current generation.
It means lots of rewriting code and with a huge graphics makeover, and can't use the same engine, and that's just the jist of it, if you know anything about programming and hardware, you would realize this is a ludicrous task.
So basically, Square-Enix would have to throw away all of it's current production on FF13, save maybe the storyline.

Besides the PS4, if there is one, isn't going to be around for a while, 3-5 years even.

To reiterate that this is a horrible idea.
