Yet another FF XIII title...

We all know... or should know... that along with FF XIII, they will also have other games. All of which combing to make the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. So far we know that square is making the following games for the series:

1. Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) TBA '08
2. Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3) TBA '08
3. Final Fantasy Agito XIII (MOBILE) TBA '08

Just recently, though, Square Enix has now licensed a title called Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII which is no doubt a game for the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. Still unknown is about... well everything. Although I don't exactly want it to be a 360 game, this may very well be they're 360 title. And why I say that i don't want it to be for 360, is because if it were all on 1 system, then it would have a more... collective and organized feel to it. None of these titles unfortunately will be coming out this fiscal year, apparently, which I believe ends March of '08. Also, a new interview with Japan's NINTENDO Dream magazine has stated that Final Fantasy XIII games will be coming one after the other for the next ten years. But, expect to see other entries in the series (i.e. FF XIV & XV) inbetween them. What are your opinions?

I say Remake FFVII, VIII and IX for the PS2 and after FFXIII don't make anymore, the FFgames are getting worse, I hated FFX, X-2 and I love XII,.

Another reason why I dislike what Square has become.

They haven't made a game since X that's had it's own independent story.
They spend a lot of time working on crappy sequels and spinoffs and it's getting them nowhere.

I'm a big square fan, but I really think they should produce as many spin-offs as possible....just so everyone just stops caring, and no1 buys the newer games and just stick to the relics like FFVII and earlier...

i would gladly pay a lil more money if they would just take their time push out release dates and develop more into their main story lines. but heck now i am going to have to buy atleast 2 of the new FFXIII's that are coming out, and at 50-60 bucks a pop that crud piles up fast! heck with as great as the PS3 is suppose to be, kinda figure that they would put it all into 1 game, or atleast package it that way as like a 2/3 disc set. but i guess it really just comes down to the good ol dollar and as long as we keep dishen em out they will keep pumpin out title after title and spin off after spin off. atleast square has some set standards....

I personally think FF9 was the low point, X-2 put a spin on the series and captivated a lot of previously FF haters to become groupies, as long as they keep spitting out new games, whether they are spin-offs, new games, sequels, prequels I'll buy them, I want to see FFL (50 right?) before I die lol, and I'd still play it as a 90 year old

They are not spin offs, people have to remember that these are completely unrelated games. The only linking factor in any of these games are the fact that they hold the same mythology and appear in the same universe. They are all stand alone independent titles that if you bought one of the games you would not feel the need to buy the others to understand the one that you are playing. There are not going to be the same characters in any of the games.

FFXIII and FF Versus and Haeresis are going to be like FFVII FFVIII and FFIX, they all have chocobos, airships and someone named Cid, but they are individual games. The games under the XIII title are the same, they just have one more linking factor the same universe and mythology, other than that they will not be related to each other in any way.

i kinda like that idea of having them in the same universe and mythology. it makes it sound like it will be more interesting then 3 unrelated titles. im quite excited to see how this new idea turns out.

well i dont think that the sequals are the problem, the problem is all there sequals suck, they havent had any good ffs out sence X (unless u count fft wotl) even if i did have a ps3 i dont think im going to be buying any ffXIII, just renting

I think it'd be funny if Mystic Quest was re-released under a different name into the Fabula Nova Crystalles. All they'd need to do was think of some weird, greek-ish sounding name for the game.

As for this new 360 title, why not? It might actually be a good game and for those who have 360's, great.

I kind of like this whole idea of a huge complitation.

Anyways IMO I would like to see another FFXIII on the PS3 or Xbox.
But if it's another handheld....ughhhh.

Hopefully Square Delivers on this title.

i think Haeresis wont even be a game but some other form of media like FF7 AC. i mean FF13 is another Compilation. there will probably be novels an movies as well as games.

I'm guessing SE's hoping to make another success as big as Final Fantasy VII, by the looks of this compilation. I just hope it won't be milked out to no end, but seeing as this is more a universe than a compilation, I'm alright with it. A mo
