I can't remember aLL magicks 'coz they're so many of them.. but.. on my memory.. the most..

UseLess are: Toxic/fy, BLeed, Syphon, decoy and when I got to much higher LeveLs and got aLL LeveL three magicks Like waterga, curaga/ja.. etc. aLL LeveL one and two magicks became useLess Like.. thunder, thundara, water watera.. etc.

UsefuL are: Arise, bubbLe, protect, sheLL, brave, faith, Curaga and Curaja.. and aLL LeveL three (dark) magicks..

I can. In X when you fight Seymour near Mt. Gagazet, Bio is the most important spell in that fight.

Back on topic.

Death is probably the least useful considering it has a very limited list of monsters it actually works on. Normal little fights ae easy enough and all of the bosses are immune to it so what's the point.

I wouldn't say that I think there are useless spells, just ones that I don't use that often. It really depends on how you play the game. I tend to use brute force over magic, but that's just how I get things done. Not the most tactical way, I know.

I suppose the ones that I haven't used in game would be:

Balance, Reverse, Decoy, Death, and Syphon.

My favorite spells are, of course, the curative ones. I also like these:

Bubble and Hastega.

With Bubble, I can double the max HP of my characters. It helps with my lower level characters who don't quite have enough HP.

Hastega makes my party's actions go double-quick. I just like that I can annihilate enemies in less time.

I think float is pretty useless, its only used for going over traps and all you have to do is use libra to go around them.
