I have just completed the 122333 challenge!!!!

undying and the rest where quite simple,but most of undying's attacks knocked me out quite quickly,so a'lot of phoenix downs where used.

the pharos at ridorona:

i ran out of hi-potions after the 1st ascent,ran through the whole of the second ascent and used no x-potions,then i ran out of x-potions at the last second against dr.cid after famfrit had been defeated!!

pandaniem,slyt,fenrir,DR.cid,gabranth,hashmal and famfrit all defeated!!

pandaniem-too easy.dead in minutes,although the paling meant that he did last quite a while.

slyt-i was so stupid,i forgot to get the wyrm fire shot!so there was no point in oiling him,so it took some time and a'lot of healing.


fenrir-now this guy was really challenging.He hit me at over 1500-2500HP damage!!so quite a bit of x-potions where used.And also took some time.But he finally went down too. hashmal-really simple,i was hoping for more of a challenge.He too,took some time to defeat but he was nothing that i couldn't handle,he's quakeja only did 1200HP damage.

gabranth- i have met tougher malboros

dr.cid,famfrit- when it was dr.cid first,easy as pie!
then when famfrit stepped up,things got real tough.After he was dead DR.cid got much tougher.

i was hardly doing any damage to dr.cod!! 150HP damage to be exact.

so my only hope was to unleash some serious quickening damage!i used a hell of a'lot of hi-ethers in the battle.I ran out of hi-potions and x-potions when he was HP-critical.Doing all that wasn't at all easy.But great fun!!




if you haven't done it before,the 122333 challenge is a challenge where you can't gain a single level.As you can imagine,it's very hard.and you're right!And i recommend anyone who hasn't done it before to have a go at it!

zeromus,roblon,zalera,exodus,lindwyrm,gil snapper,diabolos and goliath have now all been defeated!!

EDIT 3:

carrot and wild malboro have both been defeated.I have now made millions of gil using the dark lords method in the stillshrine of Miriam.

Wait a minute...I'm confused. You can't ever gain a level?? You have to run through the whole game at level 2 or 3? How do you keep from getting exp? How can you afford items if you don't have loot to sell. This sounds like BS to me.

well it isn't,the best way to heal is to heal by potions and items because of the lack of MP.there are many methods of getting money early in the game,once you have the firefly.you can get lp and loot to sell for gil,but before that,you can steal from the werewolves(giza plains)you can steal quality hides,worth about 400 gil.

which is what i did at the begining of the game to earn fast gil and i also had to farm for water motes and holy motes in the westersand to get through the barhiem passage.

but then later,you can steal from king bomb,bomb shell which is worth nearly 900 gil is a common steal.and bomb fragments which is worth about 1900 gil.the challenge requires a'lot of patience and you spend most of the time,getting money and farming for items

you also need to run through every single area and just kill bosses and hunts to get LP(bosses and hunts give no EXP)and when there are enemies near the boss.like vossler for instance.you need to warp them.the enemies disappear and you get no EXP.

You didn't Dustia chain for gil? Once you first get Penelo, it's possible to do it, since her level will go back to 3 when you get her on Bahamut.


Anyway, I assume you used fomalhouts, right? They're a 122333 player's best friend.

You're not allowed to kill anything when getting to carrot.But I forgot where you find him/her though.Note:This is a really tough mark so be prepared.

Is it possible to make it to where Carrot will never attack.
Ive ran throught there (the place the vierra hunter waits) one hundered times and i still cant find it.

in the area where the veira is fallow the path down and to the left, it is "hidden" around the bend. but you can NOT attack a single creature from the point when you enter the forest. hope that helps.

I've only heard of ppl doing this if there insane. Why do this type of challenge? It sounds really insane having to run around low leveled with the best gun in the game.

Only one thing that bothers me..
How do you get the firefly item so early in the game?
