Finished the game (Spoilers)

Ok, I just finished the game and I'm a little disappointed. The ending seems to come way too fast, you barely even know much about the characters. The craziest thing to me is that 50% of the hunts were harder than the final boss. It was rather anti-climactic.

I am still baffled by Penelo's reason for even being in the game, other than being the narrator for the end cutscene. They try to close it up by mentioning what happens next but it's all too bland (Basch takes over for "Noah" and Ashe is queen again....yay). There is no need to get any of the most powerful weapons in the game, unless you want to beat the hardest hunts.

I think they just lacked a good story, it was all about the "amazing" new battle system. This new team didn't do as good a job as I hoped. This may not be the worst FF ever, but it isn't a 40/40 on my ratings....

Anyone else completed the game and have opinions?

I have completed the game as well, and I do agree it's disappointing, character development was barely present. If you ask me, Vaan and penelo had little or almost no influence at all in the party. They just happened to bump into Ashe, and joined her in her journey in regaining her throne.

Regarding the final boss thing, it's understandable to have the optional bosses/hunts to be more powerful, or harder to defeat, which challenges the players to level up, get better weapons. Other than that, you'd be able to beat the last boss by just skimming through, playing for only the story.

ummmmm question. what level did you guys win on?

Highest level in my part was 78.. but I read you could win the boss with around a lvl 45 party though.

omg that is soooo low. this game sounds kinda of easy. i am only on level 21 even but i guess i don't have to level up too much unless i want to do all the hunts.
