Great place to level (spoiler)

Hi everyone. I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I have all my characters 60+ now and I'm at the part in the story where you have to go to The Feywood. I have 300k gil, almost have all my LP's completed, and am caught up with all the most recent available weapons/armor.

In Golmore Jungle, the Southern most part (The Rustling Chapel), if you clear the area, these skeletons start popping everywhere. They give over 900 exp points each (if you have the Embroidered Trippet, you will double exp points earned). After you clear all the skellys, usually end up with over a 30+ chain, the Grave Lord pops. He has alot of hit points, but I just use a healer and keep curing my tanks. He gives over 1,500 exp and 13 LP. Then I run back out to the plains and save, and repeat this process. Every run up to the low to mid 50's, I was gaining 2 levels per run. Now at 60, I gain 1 level each run. It's time consuming, but for me, worth it.

Yeah, I was just doing this while hunting the Vorpal Bunny. >.> I got my highest chain ever, 83, and my main party each got two levels before I managed to corner that slippy little furball. I also made close to 60k from all those bones and magicites lol. I did have some problems at the beginning because like 5 of them would spawn and I'd run into the Feywood zone to recoup, but after awhile I got them to spawn 1-2 at a time.

If anyone else wants to try this Blindna is a must. I ended up setting a gambit for it after getting frustrated with the constant missing that would enable the skeletons to do heavy damage, even KO on occasion. Oh, and my levels were 37-38 when I started, now it's 39-40.

I never ran into the Grave Lord though. Maybe cause I was too busy chasing that damn bunny haha. It wasn't that hard to fight, but cornering it was another matter entirely. >.<

hey...

when you got to the Golmore Jungle, at what level you were at before starting leveling up at the place?

Well, for that particular area with the skeletons, I wouldn't try that before level 35. First you have to clear the entire zone of mobs before they start spawning, and that includes some level 38ish Hellhounds, which are aggressive and do link. I've had as many as 5 on me at once, which can be a problem.

The skeletons themselves are around level 37, spawn in pairs and groups, can blind and disable you, and have AoE capabilities which they often spam. So yeah...they can be tough if you aren't prepared lol. I wasn't the first time cause I didn't know they spawned, I just wanted the damn bunny.

However, as for the rest of the jungle...with good equipment and the ability to cure or prevent multiple status ailments, you can easily level there in the low 20s. Maybe sooner, that's just what level my second party is and I've been leveling them there a bit. Just watch out for large groups of mobs cause some of them can and will wipe you if you aren't careful.

Wow, I'm at that place in the game to, and all of my people are 30-40 lol and here I thought cid was easy to beat, it must have taken you about 2 mins lol? (43 being highest, 27 being lowest :\)

you guys level up very very very much im 24 (all my people are 24, & larsa's a 23) in the golmore jungles and just beat the first boss there and got mjrn

if your level is in the twenties kill those hell hounds they give you 1,500 exp and like 2 lp watch out though they are extremely tough if your in the twenties for your level

Nabudis deadlands is a pretty good place to level. I went in at lv40, came out lv50 lol

i would teleport all the way to the westersand and keep kiking every things but then go to the golmore jungle kick everthings but in there and u would be a very high lvl.

But for legitimate leveling, the southwest part of the Barheim passage that eventually leads to Zalera (complete wimp) is good, as are the Deadlands, if you can stay alive in them for more than 20 seconds.

I got up to level 68 from level 40 in the Nabudis. The Feywood is nice place for me too.

Nabreus is an excellent place to level with Tippets from around 40-70 and it doesn't take much effort really. If you've done the medal quest for the Necrohol then you'll know the area I'm refering to. It's a hidden area and a site where Arioch has a chance of spawning, and it has about 80 Dead Bones that spawn there. It's a bit of a glitch because they constantly spawn for about half an hour and they give around 1000-2000 exp each! So it's easy to make quite a few levels quickly

i didnt use any trick or say in the same place and level up over and over again. i ran from one side of the world map to the next over and over again. it gave me a nice variation of enemies. yeah it would take about 1 - 1 1/2 hours to run from one side to another and fight but i found it more entertaining then camping out in one place and fight the same things over and over again.
