I got my highest chain in the Urutan Yensa area and it was about 160

I got a chain of 203 in the Zertinan Caverns area. I got the chain while fighting those "shambling corpse" things (I think that's their name anyway). apparently they drop platinum daggers which sell for 6750 gil, and foul flesh which sells for about 150 gil. I got lucky and had like 10 daggers, and 99 foul flesh. then I got bored, and went exploring in the caves some more.

My highest chain was 300 wolves in the beginning just to make sure I was ready for the next part and to explore.
I was mean and told my friend that if you chained 999,999 wolves, you get 99 of every weapon in the game. He believed me and kept his PS2 on for about 6 days straight until I told him to stop. He was at about 5,000.. =] |

999 when I was leveling up Ashe and Penelo in the Henne Mines. I chained the Abysteels. At the end, I got so many Demon Shields. They sold for so much and I was rich!!

Hmm, well I have had quiet a few chains reach very high, but my highest would have to be 212 in the Estersands, fightings Wargs.
