Favorite FFXII character

Well I might as well be the first (I hope I'm the first) to post this question (because you know you will see it again.) Anyhow which FFXII main character is your favorite?I have to go with Basch followed by Balthier I really think that these are well written characters. They remind me of someone from Lord of the Rings or something. I think that they are well acted and pretty darn cool.So who is your favorite and why?

It's a little early in the game for me to wrap up an honest opinion about this, but so far I'm a huge van of Basch and Vaan. Basch is mixed up in all kinds of things, and has strong ties to Vaan and Ashe alike.

I'll refrain from voting on the poll for now, and will do so only upon completion of the game. I'll be sure to post when I do and let you know if my opinion changes.

I'm also really fond of Vayne... I can't tell yet whose side he's really on...

Yeah i noticed that Lord of the Rings thing too..right from the very start of the game. I love the accents honestly.

I think my favorite would have to be Balthier. I love his character and i think him and fran make a great duo. He often seems to act as a sort of guardian of Vaan, though at times he can sound a bit like a jerk. I like how people have compared him to a Han Solo kind of dashing character, with Fran as his Chewbacca like sidekick.

I think a lot of the characters are very well done as well but Balthier is definitely my favorite. Lamont though more of a minor role, i think is a great character as well.

You're right about Vayne though..i'm still kinda scratching my head to what this guy is REALLY about. I guess time will show..i feel like something big is going to happen with him soon.

I agree I think that Balthier is awsome. I love how he crakcs jokes even when they group is stuck in tight spots what a great guy.

The game already told me what side Vayne is on. Loco, at the point your at, you should of as well.

I liked Ashe. She was strong, not like other heroines, but now she is falling into the same stereotypical mode. Penelo is the nice cute girl, and not as annoying as Rikku. So I go with her.

In all fairness, I haven't seen all that much, yet, but, I'm fairly sure that my favorite is already Basch, I'm a sucker for his kind of character, what can I say.
He is tough, smart, brave, mature and more importantly, my age.

I too shall hold off on completing the poll until I've finished the game. So gimme a few more days! After that I'll vote, but so far it's looking like Basch and Balthier. They are both very well acted and scripted. I like Ashe too. She's rather deep for a princess.

I've only just started playing the game, so I can't comment on some of the characters that I haven't really met-- but so far Balthier is my favorite. While he's a pretty obvious take off of Han Solo from Star Wars-- he's still does it well enough to be loved. ^^

I really loved the price guy from opening animation

I'm shocked to see that I'm the only one who is a big fan of Fran. I haven't completed the game just yet, but so far, she's my favorite. I'm not quite sure why. Probably just because she's badass. I don't really have much of a reason.

Yeah, Fran is fast becoming a favorite of mine. The Viera are just so intuitive. Sure, most of them don't like Humes, but... I mean, could you blame them?

I still don't really have a single favorite yet, and won't until I'm done, but... eh.

I like Fran, if only because she sounds like Bjork to me.
And Balthier's character is starting to shine; a cool head, that one.

Awesome! That's maybe where i got that description. I feel like there have been a lot of comparions made with Chewy. Fran is obviously a lot sexier though

, i think Ashe is even better though.

Yeah i have to say the moogles look great in this game, love their new look.

I'm not sure if Balthier and her are really a couple though..but maybe, more of a team i'd say. I don't really see the romantic thing but i could be wrong
