I've played about 9-10hrs now. I have 4 characters Vaan, Balthier. Fran and the guest Basch. Vaan, Balthier and Fran are at level 9 and Basch is level 11. I'm in Barheim passage, and I'm stuck I don't know how to use my green magik. Yes I have the licenses for them, but I have no clue how to use them. I'm not sure what my chains are, cause I don't know where to check for them. I'm stuck trying to kill the queen Mimic, so if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.
The graphics are great I like them and the cinamas are awesome as well. I think this game is going to take atleast 150hrs to totally complete it.

Well to help you, make sure you have the strongest available armor and weapns at this point. And you should probably level up at this point. Its possible for you to get your character quickenins, but it can take a while depending on your character's location on the license board.

Anyways I haven't posted on here for a while either. Right now I'm in Drakar's Laboratory. And right now my main party is Vaan, Fran, and Ashe at the same level 40. I have 4 espers which are Belias, Mateus, Addramalech, and Exodus. I haven't done any Mob hunts so my clan rank is still the same.

I haven't been doing much lately. I just leveled the party up some. All six characters are level 68. After an hour and a half and a 12-pack of mountain dew I finally defeated the Behemoth King. (1.6 million HP) and I was happy to get...

havn't updated in a while. I'm in the Raithwall Tomb, and i just got the Demonsbane. The First demon wall was borderline-average. it only took me 2 quickenings to beat him, but the first one wasn't even challenging, neither was that giant bird. Anyways, is it possible to get another Demonsbane from the chest to give to Basch as well?

I'm at the last free part where you can wander/do quests before you start the events for the end of the game.

I still have an assload of hunts to do, so I'm doing them for the time being. Basch is level 58, Fran - level 57 and Baltheir level 56

I've been leveling up a lot lately with Vaan, Basch, and Penelo as my main party. Vaan and Basch are at level 44 with Penelo at level 43. I'm on my way to the Feywood, but I'm gonna try to get Zeromus before going on. I got Zalhera the other day which was really easy. So now I have 5 espers at this point. Anyways I'm gonna do a few mub hunts and try to get some new armor and weapons before going on. I must admit though that the -ga spells are really helpful in battling monsters. They really are good to have.

Im around level 60 and i beat the game. The last boss was way too easy, i didnt even need to do the hunts

lol ur really overleveled for that place... i practically smashed everything up wif basch and vaan at lvl 35 with berserk and haste there...to make my point clearer..Semihaza died in 20 seconds w/o mist knacks (quickenings)

I just got out of Pharos and now I decided to go to Archades and take a break from the game. I now have nine espers which are Belias, Mateus, Zalera, Zeromus, Exodus, Hashmal, Shemhazai, Adrammelech, and Famfrit. I'm gonna try and get Chaos and then Ultima. I think I forgot another one before getting Zodiark though. And my characters are evenly at level 62 with Vaan at level 63.

I replay the game and here is my status:
70 hours, 13 espers,3 charaters are at lv 99, others are 98 and 97, 32 Marks done.

Well, I'm still in my first play through. I have been playing for 63 hours so far, and am up to the 2nd Esper fight. My characters are at level 31 (Vaan and Balthier) and level 30 (Fran, Basch, Ashe, and Penelo). My current party (which is likely to change for the Esper fight) is Penelo (leader), Ashe and Fran.

I'm looking at all the other posts in this thread, and I'll tell you, it makes me feel like I don't even know how to play a RPG game properly. Oh well. I've only been playing RPGs for about 3 years now, and mostly FFX, SO3, and FFVIII.

I think I have alot to learn about playing these games, but I still love playing them, and am enjoying FFXII most of all.

Well I have been playing this game for 18 hours and I am at the Nam-Yensa Sandsea. My clan rank is Rear Guard and I have 48343 points.
My character levels are as follows:
Vaan-17
Basch-17
Penelo-17
Ashe-12
Balthier-09
Fran-11

I have Vaan as like a paladin type, with a lot of white magic. Then I have Basch as my technik person, but he is also my strongest fighter. And then I have Penelo as my mage. She is proficient in all areas of magic.

My highest chain level is 67.

I guess that is all that I have to say.

I got Chaos, Chuclainn(sp?), and Ultima. Ultima was a bitch though. I had to fight her four times till I beat her. If she's hard, I could imagine what Zodiark is. Right now my main party is:

Basch:Lv.70

This morning I completed the Marilith hunt and I finally purchased "Scathe". That spells my favorite. Just cast "faith" on Ashe or Penelo and they kick ass.
