Who does Vaan remind you of?

I think he reminds me more of Zidane.But he does have the Tidus look.Usually future final fantasies do look like older ones characters.(I hope that made sense) Like I remember when FFX was coming out,my boyfriend at the time was like "squall and rinoa had a son!!!" and then i looked and read the article in fact they do try to make the characters look similar to older characters.Tidus was supposed to be a mix of squall and cloud(if I remember the article correctly)

I'd say a LITTLE of Cloud, Some Tidus, and more of Zidane with sugar, spice and evrything nice = Vaan.

Well seeing as the character designs for FF XII were not done by Nomura or Amano like past FF titles but by Akihiko Yoshida who did the designs for Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, etc, Vaan to me greatly resembles a lot of his old characters from these games.

His face and haircut to me almost look identical to Alphonse, the main character from Tactics Ogre: Knights of Lodis. Though Vaan's hair is more off white/blonde and Alphonse's is black. i included a small status portrait of Alphonse incase nobody knows who he is.

The first one is the real Alphonse, and the second after i make his hair more white. Looks a lot like Vaan doesn't it?

Your all gonna think im crazy. But I think he kind of looks like Sephiroth, because they both have like the same long bangs on each side. It just reminded me of Sephiroth don't know why.

Uh..maybe in the bangs, but not really much else to me. Vaan looks like a little kid version of Meg Ryan and Sepiroth is an older crazy mofo. I still think Alphonse looks just like Vaan.

There is only so many ways you can actually designed how the character looks like, that would be appealing to what the general public would want in a main character, they probably made him this way because of how people really enjoyed FFX.

Vaan is his own character. The artwork is similar to past FF games, and thus his appearance reminds one of Tidus. However, try to put all that aside and take Vaan for who he is. So far he is a very different character than the others. He might have characteristics of Tidus and Zidane, but there are only so many fantasy character characteristics out there, and they're bound to be shared.

Vaan dosen't really remind me of zidane... But he acts like tidus most of the time) ...

I have to say Tidus But zidane too.... its a hard choice tidus+zidane=vaan?
