If you think about it, just about everyone is dressed kinda lightly in the game, I mean, the planet is basically all desert except for some parts. But, for a 17 year old he does look a bit young.

Haha, I did think he looked a bit girly when I first saw a picture of him. I wasn't sure if I was going to like his character or not. I haven't played a lot of the game just yet but I think he is a pretty awesome character. He doesn't look feminine as much in the game and at least he has a pretty decent voice.. well that's what I think anyway. He's just an enthusiastic kid who tries to enjoy life even though he has lost his family. He keeps trying at everything he does.

He's cool.

Poor Vaan, I think he's alright, since that kind of boys usually get all the girls, I think, and why criticise all the main characters after FFVIII, I don't get it.
The games after VIII have everything the older ones had.

Vaan? Well. He`s good with the personality but if you look at him in game mode then yea, he kind of grosses me out. Do you ever look at his stomach in game? It looks like he burned himself 3 degree!

LOL. He stomach does look pretty gross in the game but it doesn't look burned to me. It looks a a six-pack but its going inwards!!! Now that seems gross to me. Also the first time i saw him, i thought he was some sort of human/monkey cross breed. His face is just so wrong. The worst part being his nose. Its pointing upwards for christ sake!

That's what I thought too when I first played the game.^

After playing the game and having to see Vaan and see how he acts and stuff, I have a different opinion of him. He does look really metro, but he doesn't act girly and his voice sounds pretty manly to me. He also seems mature in a way. It seems like he's just trying to live life and basically as the game progresses, you start to see him as a good character.

No offense to any of your opinions, but Vaan sounds and looks metro-sexual. He doesn't act like it, but deep down inside we all know that there's a homo waiting to come out (because we all know that metro-sexual is just an off-brand of homo-sexual.) Just kidding, Vaans cool, he was drawn badly and they could've had a different voice, but hey, he had a good FF personality.

This might sound a bit weird but Vaan is like the one part of FFXII that I can't stand, everyone else is cool, hell Basch, literally, kicks butt. Vaan on the other hand, sometimes I just wanna jump inside my tv and go all kefka or ultimecia on his butt. Hell, sometimes I let him KO and forget I have an excess of phoenix down, though that leaves me almost depressed when he's all wide awake again in the next cutscene. I see him as an annoying version of the battery bunny ad thingo, 'Never say die!' And as for metrosexual, we get enough of those weirdos hitting on guys at the pub, with that lisp 'oohhh I'mmm nott gayy, I'mm juussttt mmmetroshecksualll', 'donn'tt bbee a haatterr', you'll just have to imagine the lisp and drawn out speech. I hate having to play as one of those guys, Vaan doesn't say it, but I know he'd love to if he was programmed to. I guess on the plus side, the more gay seeming guys around, the less real competition.

That's too much. His hair & voice are weird, graphics don't make him seem like a "man"- he's different from Vaan in the cinematic cut-scenes. But you can't say he's metrosexual. Just because of the appearance? Then, how gay were Tidus & Squall? That way, they'd have to supergay- but they were not.

This is typical FF: weird hairstyles, kitch clothes & an attitude no one would have if they were basic characters of a game.

I've goten used to it. That's how they make FFs nowadays.

Vaan is feminine looking but in all fairness he isnt gay(although he may seem it)

It would've been cool to have we say basch as the main character,he is alot more masculine than vaan plus he just plain rocks no doubt about it.

When someone mentioned about vanns six pack i have to say its freaky cause it looks like its his bones sticking right out(in game only not in fmv's)thats pretty weird.
