FFXII Spinoff For the DS UPDATE: TITLE AND FIRST SCAN REVEALED!
Interestingly, EGM recently reported a rumor that an FF13 spinoff for the DS would be shown. But now according to a reliable Japanese blog it looks like it's actually an FFXII spinoff.
TGS is on September 22, we'll find out more then. On a related note, it also mentions KHII Final Mix is coming (and Nomura said KHII was "complete" and didn't need one, HAH!)

Too bad its in Japanese
 This is good news, I wouldn't be suprised if Final Mix is the version that gets released to PAL territories which would be good as it still isn't here yet and it'll make up for it. FFXII Spin Off? This comes as no suprised and it will be interesting to see if it is good or not. It will be good to put my DS to some use besides FFT:A and FFIII.

Yes, it does seem to be Tactics-esque, or at least will likely be played in the strategy style. I wouldn't consider it a "sequel" per se, but likely it will be the game that FFT:A wished it could have been. I doubt it will recapture the magic of FFT, but considering FFXII is based in the same world... who knows? It could be possible. Either way, I think I've got my sights on yet another interesting DS title to purchase in the future. |

LOL! I actually undrstood most of the french words in the topic. N-E ways its sounds pretty cool but that one site has one of the characters that looks similar to Zidane though.

Here's the link for it.^ Anyways it is said that its like a younger version of Vaan and Penelo.And its possible that it may be like tactics style(original one), but I wouldn't expect the graphics to be as nice as it looks though.I guess we have to wait and find out more information about it.

I'm not especially too excited about FFXII because the latest FF game, FFVII
 irge of Cerberus dissappointed me.xDOn another note, it will be especially surprising to see an FFXII spin off on the DS.(I'm really excited about KHII:FM) |
