i have not played it yet but from what i see so far i would give it about 80/100
i think it would be much better than 10 because i hated its battle mode its rubbish

i've played about 70 hours of it and..

i'll give it a 90/100

my review ( no serious spoiler i think read at your own risk xD )

story:
I think this ff is on politics, vengeance, and the yearn for power ( you'll get what i mean when you play ). Love is not the main component in this ff. Which is quite surprising looking at the previous ffs which most players can feel the "love" component. No, not in this ff. Disappointment to players who prefer the usual love story kind of ff. Despite not completing the game yet, I think the story is quite tight and interesting

Just a point to note: The focus of the story is not on Vaan. There isn't really a main character in the game. Personally speaking i think the story revolves around Ashe instead. Vaan is like.. a 3rd party, a by-stander maybe.

I'll have to say SQUARE ENIX have pushed it to the limit. This is the most beautiful ff ever. The scenary is just great Looks very realistic for a game. With addition to being able to adjust your own camera angle, there's quite a lot to see in the world of Ivarice. The details are supurb! You'll be amazed at how detailed the equipments ( weapon and shield ) on each players looks. Well one set-back is there isn't many fmv. But why bother when the normal gameplay graphic is almost as good as fmvs?

A point to note: fields/towns in ff12 can be really huuuuge. They tried to make it proportional to the real thing. Too real... too big... too time consuming >:/

battle system:
Active Dimension Battle. Other than ff11, ff12 is the first ever ff where the players/ monster fight con-currently. No more I wait for you, you bash me first then my turn to bash you. Everything is happening at the same time! Cast of spell, attacking of monster. Vice-versa.

After getting used to the new battle system in ff12.. I've started to hate random battles. In ff12 you'll be able to know what you are fighting. Because the monsters are crawling around in the field ( one reason why some field are so big in ff12.. ). I feel it's more comfortable knowing what you are fighting before the battle begin.

I think ff12 have one of the best battle system ever

i would give it a 99/100 (i will never give a game a perfect rating unless it like a 5/5 starts kind of rating system).

this game has some really really strong points and a few week points.

Strong points i would put:
The Battle System
The Graphics
The Character Design(i DON'T mean there personality)
Feal of the game
World
Size
Extras
Gambit System
Difficulty(not to hard and not to easy)
length

and i would put the week points as:
The story
Character development

yes the story is a big part put some people have a tendency to get really into the game play and not worry about the story.

Im not saying that the story was bad. ITS A MORE MATURE STORY!! Adults will enjoy it probably more then the kids will. Also if they would have had a little more story and a few more things that u didn't see coming like in FFX or FFVII.

and character really are pretty much already developed so its not really nessisary but it would have been nice to see more.
