FFXII release date updates

This should go into the FFXII forum, as the help desk is for problems with the site and forums, not for any question you might have.

As far as the OST's release, the game comes out shorly in Japan, doesn't it? You'll see a Japanese release of the OST around two weeks after the Japanese release of the game, and then you can import it.

The release date of FFXII is not set as of yet, from what I have read. They are saying Spring 2005 though for Japan, so expect it around Fall to Winter 2005 here, there is probably going to be a lot of translating since the game has 100-150 game hours. Lots of dialogue.

There has been actually a few release dates announced... then moved... then announced once again. Id expect for the date to keep changing just like it does with most Final Fantasy games ^^ And untill then keep checking your local Electronics Botique or the internet for release dates.

According the trailer from the TGS it said Spring 2005. So it seems that time is more permenant than some of the last ones. Though it is always possible that it'll change. But I think this one is pretty definite.

Hey Andromeda, is that an FFXII sig? If it is, why is there an a and an i next to life? Is that a sign that the Iifa tree will be involved in XII? That would be super hardcore!

It should come out in Japan in: 2005-01-04

Then it should come out over here in U.S. in September or November in 2005. It will probaly be releaed with Kingdom Hearts II. It's so long away!

Oh man!! Now I have to wait another year to play some new Final Fantasies. So very sad. At least I have the old ones to keep me company.

Okay, the latest news on a US release was July 2005, but that's becoming more and more doubtful as the Japanese release has once again been delayed. Be sure to check in this thread as well as the TFF homepage for updates on any information regarding FFXII's release.

We'll keep you nice and up-to-date, as best we can.

As for the OST, I'd say... expect that after the game is released.

Wow, didn't even see this post. ^^; Its all FFIX, other than the character which is from FFXI. Nothing about FFXII ^^. Glad that someone took note of the Iifa in there.

Anyway, on to more important matters. I can't remember if I said this in another thread somewhere, I think I did. But anyway, according to Bloomberg Square Enix is going to be release a game a month starting at the Fiscal Year, March if I am correct. Naturally we can only assume that one of those months will be FFXII. Which is not determined yet, but you will have a better idea. If it is not released in March, you have to wait another month, and then another. That is probably more certain than any guessed released so far I think.
