So what do you guys think this'll be? Although I really wasn't expecting anything like this, I have a feeling that it'll be a new summonable avatar. It seems to have the same type of "avatar look", including the color scheme. It actually looks kind of close to Fenrir. And I could be just wanting to see it, but it seems to have a dark purple, almost black, "avatar glow". The lore also makes it sound kind of... avatarish.

Or it could just be an NM/HNM, or a story character/enemy, and hopeful Summoners across Vana'diel will weep.

Personally, I really hope it's a summon.

It was announced that smn would get a new summon this expansion, so yeah it seems Ixion might me the new one, seems pretty cool.
Gives me something to do again for my smn, lol.

Boo. =( Apparently it's just an NM. Too bad, I was really hoping it would be a summon. From how it'll be a free roaming NM, I doubt it'll eventually be a summon. But I suppose anything's possible. Still... I want Phoenix more than anything. <_<

Seems like it's a high tire version of that new popped NM system, which seems quite interesting.
Have to make pictures of mobs etc to get points, quite random...too bad for now they get camped almost as bad as regular HNM, haha.

I swear... the only thing I can pay attention to with this announcement is the damned grammar error. Whatever Squeenix employee wrote it should be busted upside the head. I can't think of a single good example of using "is" with "come". Wait... because it's wrong!

Meh. Its not really a big deal overall, its just really sad that the NA team didn't notice something so blatently wrong on a major announcement. O.o

It's done on purpose. It's written in archaic English. It's actually grammatically correct.

Note the very first line of the song: while "The Lord is come" would be considered improper in modern-day English language ("The Lord has come" should be used instead), it was grammatically correct when the song was first written in the early 18th Century.

Has been killed on our server already this morning and it seems like they got fulldrop, on other forums it shows that many got fulldrop, so apparently the droprate of the items is quite high..
Now my ls needs to claim it ._.
