Meh... I don't think they look too bad.
I mean the cactuars are still cute cactus creatures that run around in the desert. They gave the tonberrys a more sinister look too which I don't mind.

How can u call that thing cute? The IX cactuar was cute but that??
I dont mind the XI tonberry, that was a little too cute on IX cos u'd think "hahaha look, i'm just gunna play with it cos its rubbish!" And then you mug it and WHAAAAM! It counters with Karma! So then you think "right so u want to play it the hard way, eh?" and then u fight it and it starts stabbing you!!! And then you have to flee from a tiny cute thing, which is quite humiliating! And then you remember it's only a game. . . . |

Im not against change but why change cactuar I have to agree with Sir Fratters on this ,the FFIX cactuar was cute and who can forget the FFVIII summon jumbo cactuar. Cactuar but with a mustache, what could be better.

AHHHHH!!!!!! MINE EYES..... Yes... I remember seeing Cctaur... 'twas sad. Oh well... peronally, the Tonberry I last saw which was somewhere around Elshimo Lowlands region wasn't all that bad. And to tell you the truth, it would be great to see a seasonal promotion for this game where they add in scenarios or refrences to older FFs (enemy wise atleat.) That giant cactuar would have to be the one for 8 ^_~

1000 needles still hurts, so no, I think it's just fine, trust me. ><; Tonberries also look rather cool in my opinion, and they've still got throat stab, so yeah, they're just as deadly as ever as well (sucks being the tank against them at times, especially if you hit a spot of bad lag).
