Could it be? SE nuked all known gil farmers? Or could it just be a week long Chinese New Years?

Yeah I have been noticing price drops on the AH, which things fall. And I was beginning wonder what was happening, seeing as usually when something goes up it takes a long time to come down if ever and the prices have been dropping fast. So if this is true and SE took action to remove all of the gilsellers, thank goodness it will be a great day for everyone FFXI. Maybe I can afford some things once again.

The [Gilfinder]'s as we call them on Valefor are smart... or something. Most just mine or camp NM's such as Morion worm. Few actually fought HNM's like Simurgh, etc. Pretty much every single one is still on our server and I can name them right now.
Mikeloon, Maryloon, gogogogogogo (deceased, and only, haha bastard!), wow, all of a sudden I forget the names of them. Maybe its because I haven't mined in awhile, but ANYHOW. They're for the most part here. go~ and 1 or 2 other characters that she controlled or friends/co-workers or whatever controlled were actually banned by GM's. Yes, be surprised. Other than that... *Sigh*

If this is true peopole can actuly aford to go to go to the Auction Houses.Which would be a good thing for us frequent sellers.But I couldnt agree more its about ****ing time.

Gilsellers aren't the only problem in inflating the price of popular items. Don't forget that gilsellers are also human, which means they're also like us. Surely you should know that there are many greedy people out there. There are certain people besides gilsellers that will monopolize certain items and increase its price. Let's not forget that not just gilsellers will overprice items as many people that are not gilsellers will do so anyway. And though a lot of the gilsellers are gone, there are still some among the crowd.

Surely they arent entirelly gone, but, it seems like its damn well close.

..I never seen so many Goobbue's live so peacefully without Tomgood camped there 24/7. XD

I find it funny that SE jumped at it now during the whole celebration thing over in China, kinda like.. "Heres your present! fucker! *ban* XD"

yep. Good fucking riddance yo, but we'll still have idiots driving the prices up and up regardless of gs's being present.

I am really hoping that is Square-Enix's doing and not the because of the Chinese New Year celebration.

I'm glad they are doing something, hopefully more legitimate players will return, and less corrupt business people will come and ruin the magical world of vanadiel.

If this is true I would be SOOO happy. Thumbs up to
Square-Enix.

So far it does look like they're gone for the most part. A few still exist on Alexander (Jackboy still camps Amemet like a bitch) but yeah, Tomgood the Goobue hunter is gone, as is Bananaok, his partner in crime. o.o; The apples disappeared a while ago, but someone started rattling off other groups a while back, and I had to admit, hadn't seen them for a while either. I don't care tho, as long as they're gone. ^^

I ran past the Leaping Lizzy spawn today... there wasn't a single person there. At all. I waited for upwards of 40 minutes, and the only people around were a lv6 killing lizards and some people running by on chocobos. I would have stayed for the spawn and hoped for the boots to drop, but I got a party invite for Qufim.

I mean, I know they ganked some of the monster drops, but still, LL was camped a lot up until... well, just now. I was gonna give the boots to Merlin, too.

Lizzy drops Bounding Boots now Loco, it is a Rare/ex Item. You coudn't have traded it to him. SE made some changes to 4 monster drops while you were gone, and made them Rare/ex Lizzy was one of them affected by this.
