Inventory | your kidding!? Auron is the most usefull charector in the game. Wow, youve got it all wrong.. and if so, than why did you name yourself after his legendary weopon if he sucks so bad? i think the most useless charector is Rikku, because of her lack of both magic AND strength. And shes quick and everything, but the only use for her is her overdrive, mix. And her overdrive is hard to build up with the lack of actions she can do.

Inventory | I liked how this game would always allow you to steal if the enemy had an item. No randomness about it. If you don't like Auron's overdrive, you could always use that move that'll have him sacrifice his overdrive to fill someone else's (can't remember the name of the ability).

Inventory | it all depends on how you level up your charecters on the sphere grid. thats why everyone has a different opinion on the charecters.

Inventory | When it came to boss battles, I used EVERYBODY. One character would save my battle when things were looking horrible. Like the part when you had to defend the ship from that stupid flying monster? Everybody used what they were best for and it went okay. Tidus - Hastega. Just awesomeness. Auron - Limit breaks = major damage. Lulu - long-range attacks Rikku - Al Bhed medicine. Yuna - summons and curaga. Wakka - long range attacks and added status effects. Kimahri - pretty strong for my group. So yeah, I don't think any of them were really useless. The key is to keep switching out characters when needed. ^^

he's actually very slow and only good for Sentinel and breaks, and still i've never really needed breaks, only on dark elementals and the last Seymour (Sin dispels them with negation so they're useless there) his damage may be higher per hit, but he's also way slower then Wakka and Tidus in the end both Tidus and Wakka cause more damage because they're way faster (sometimes my Tidus has 2-3 to even 4 turns between Aurons turns)

Inventory | Auron's breaks prooved to be the most useless ability in the game, because it made your attacks 1.5 times effective. Auron dealed the most damage and had the most defense and health. Auron didnt have the best overdrives i admit, but thats what entrust is for. Auron can be fast with Tidus' haste spell.

Inventory | Ooh, this could be interesting. Auron's speed problem can be neutralized by going directly into Tidus's grid, since his is pretty short. *sits by and examines the debate*

i think you're missing the point of "Mix" Mix isn't supposed to be a damaging overdrive but an all-round overdrive to heal, to deal status effects, to buff your team or to damage (double lunar courtain ftw) Mix is arguably the best and most versatile overdrive in the game, though you need items to actually make it work but the possibilities are unending a few of my favourites are 2x Al Bhed Potion --> X-potion for whole party + cures status ailments 2x Hi-Potion --> doubles health of 1 person(never found out the one group one) 2x Lunar Curtain --> Super Mighty G(protect, shell, haste and regen on party) that last one could be simply Might Guard, but i don't think so, Lunar Curtains are pretty hard to find if you don't steal much, so i couldn't use the combo very much Last edited by Raptorg; 05-25-2007 at 07:30 PM..

Inventory | Steal a lot in the Thunder Plains, you'll get all the Lunar Curtains you need (I know, 'cause I'm in that part of the game right now...an old restart I got back to). Man, you really dislike Auron, don't you Squall333? Frankly, he's quite handy against those drakes mid-game. Them doing over 1,000 damage while most of my characters only have that much was really killer unless I bring Auron in to take them out. I guess I could rely on Aeons, but I try not to do that.

Inventory | Finally, somebody realizes that I'm talking about mid-game levels here. Auron's section on the sphere grid is smaller than most of the rest (except Kimahri, of course). So who do you go to after his is done? Do you go for Wakka's status attacks and accuracy, or do you go for Tidus's speed and accuracy? I would take on Tidus's, since Auron is pretty slow. It'll also boost his accuracy a little (not as much as Wakka's, but status attack aren't that great).

Inventory | If you're trying to get a lot of items early in the game, Kimahri can be very handy. I'm currently using Rikku and Kimahri to mug creatures while trying to get Tidus his Blitz Ace overdrive. I stole planty of Hi-Potions, Arctic Winds, Smoke Bombs, etc..., and I use the items to add abilities to weapons so they'll sell for higher prices. If you're focused soley on beating the tar out of every creature/person you run into, then yeah, Kimahri can be pretty weak. Although, gaining high speed from Rikku's section and having the 'Piercing' ability makes him quite useful to me.
