Q: Is Final Fantasy X the best one yet??? If yes or no tell me what u think.
If not what is the best 1-12 in your order?

I think it was the best. Mainly because of it's length, but partly due to it's weird (at the time) sphere grid system. Many people hated it, but I liked the fact that everyone can have every skill. FFIX comes close.

I really think that square enix should stick with the old level up, gain skills from items system, but it does'nt look likely.

I have to disagree with it being ht best Final Fantasy. The new ones always seem to be better than the older ones when it comes to graphics which makes the game seem better but all FF games have there amazing storylines which hook people. I did like FFX since it had the sphere grid, awesome battle system and the graphics were just the best i've seen so far.

Anyway the reason i've said no is because i can't choose which one it the best since they all have there own good qualitys about them.

I think FFx was bets in graphics and the voiceovers were cool.But overall I think FF8 as the best. It had an awesome storyline and awesome characters. I know alot will disagree with me,but I just loved ff8. It seemed more mystical then the others,and i haven't got 12 yet so I can't really compare to that one.

Yes, I love Final Fantasy X very much but I prefer VIII. X has beautiful graphics and it even has voice overs which VIII doesn't have but I prefer the storyline of VIII. It was the first FF game I ever played so it will always have a special place in my heart! X is a very close second though. My opinion may change after I play XII though haha. Only a few months to wait...

No way is X the best

Too easy, too short, too linear,annoying characters (Tidus, worst hero in a FF game if you ask me) sure it has great graphics and voice overs..but a lot of the animations are jittery and unrealistic for the most part and the voices sound like a bunch of excited teeny boppers. Basically if you are from the ages of 11-16 or so..FF X may be your favorite.

Not to say it's bad..it did have some good characters (Auron is the man), a good story, one of the better soundtracks (though not the best), a good amount of replayabily in side quests, etc..and yea thats all i can think of

If you want a good new school final fantasy..XII has much better graphics, a more mature and engaging story, better cutscenes, even more freedom over character development, and an amazing battle system. Completely blows X out of the water. 'nuff said.

Short answer: No.

Long (er) answer: FFX is good, I really liked the combat system, the music, the characters (I'm looking at you, Auron, you hunk) the world itself and the story is quite good, but, with the arrival of FFXII everything pales in comparison, seriously, I love other FFs dearly, each one has it's good aspects, but, FFXII is a technical achievement; perfect in every single way.

Well for one, i don't believe you. Not to say that it's not possible to beat the game in uh..48 hours? It could be beaten on average within 40-50 hrs (without doing the sidequests, getting all the secrets, etc). But do you really expect me to believe that you did that without sleeping? I mean if you did, it's not really something to brag about, just shows that you have no life.

And secondly..X could be beaten in the same amount of time if not less time. XII has much more of an expansive world, with so much to explore once you are done though.

I don't think FFX is even close to being one of the best FF's, sure, the graphics are okay but some of the music was terrible. Look at FFVI, terrible graphics due to computer game era but great music. I did love Blitzball and Sphere Grid was very original and cool. The majority of the characters based in the game were good, the voice acting was cool. FFX was an overall success but isn't close to being the best.

Please don't flame other members, and don't report posts about it either. You're free to your opinion, and this topic is fine but don't bash others and be surprised that other people with more experience, prefer other games.

I remember thinking Mario RPG was the best game ever, then I played FFVI. Oh boy was that a shock!

X I was really excited for, and was having fun with it, but I just couldn't get into the story (reminded me too much of other games) or the characters (except Auron, he's a badass)

I'm about 5 hours into FFXII and I'm loving it so far, but then I love the whole Ivalice world from Tactics.

Anywayz yeah i realize it is a matter of opinion. Haha that's great about Super Mario RPG, thats still one of my fav rpgs as well!

As for FF X..i kinda felt the same way. Not that i hated it or thought it was a bad game, but certainly not the kind of game i was looking for. The characters all seemed so immature and annoying to me. Plus i felt like they made a joke that most of the characters had no relevance to the story besides Tidus, Yuna and (maybe) Auron. I mean geez, all the other summoners had one guardian and yuna had what like 6, and one attacked people with a ball! To me it's even hard to compare it to FF XII. I can certainly see why Sakaguchi left square after games like X and X-2

No way is X the best IX is IMO and my friend next to me thinks VII is (poor guy) , Sure X had the best soundtrack and used voiceovers but the game was far too short and was fairly crap when it came to secrets because FF is good when you have secret characters.

Best is a very relative word. If you want the best graphics (for the time it was released), then 10 is definitely the best. If you want the best story, I would lean toward others in the series. So in some ways, 10 is the best, but in others I think it falls short of past titles.

Me personally I cant say if its the best one since I have played all them yet but my fav is still ff8 but this one is second on my list

I don't know about best, but it's certainly my favourite. It was the first one I ever completed, and it's also the only one I can remember the story from in full.

I have to agree, Final Fantasy X is the best yet... Amazing story line very religious but dosn't come close to FFVII with the religious factor. The sphere grid system owns the leveling up system and i like the FMV's story line oh and who could forget... the best charachter ever created by Square-Enix AURON!!!! i give it 11/10!!!!!
