In the U.S version there is no dark aeon on FFX but if your talking about FFX-2 well then every aeon u battle is evil and the evil thing i never heard that ever ( amazingly )

No this thread is definantly not about FF X-2's "dark aeons"

The dark aeons on FF X (int ver) is completely different, they break DM limits and just PWN you if you aren't prepared to revive someone with auto-life/auto-phoenix.

And better watch out for those overdrives for they will tear everyone into little pieces with 99.999 DM to everyone

Well I tried to PWN Dark Ixion earlier but I had to run with my tail between my legs...... If it wasn't for auto-pheonix I wouldnt even be able to that....

I HATE those guys! I remember the first time I tried to get back to Besaid after they became active and got OWNED by Dark Valefor. 'But.. But.. But hes the weakest summon ever - WTF JUST HAPPENED?!!' O_O

Sadly they arent on the US Version, though I have my Int. version with me, ironically enough, it just dosent play on a US PS2. Thank you Sony... =/

Well yeah that is because of PAL and NTSC as you probobly are aware of already and thus is not Sony's fault..

But if you get to play the int.ver. you should try to charge Yuna up with her overdrive and summon Yojimbo, pay him a bit of gil and if he uses Zanmato

Wow wow, I remember that my big brother tried getting/slaying the Dark Aeons--and he went crazy just for it! The problem was, it said only the international FF had the dark aeons, so he didn't get anything at all for searching for 2 hours. x]

First they used Passado on Wakka (Instant Death)
Then to be annyoing they used Delta Attack (Instant Game Over without Auto-Life)

Theres no dark Aeons on FFX here either just FFX-2

Naaw, actually I "cheated" with Zanmato, my strongest character is Lulu with about 200 magic.
Kimahri has about 25.000 HP.

My goal is to beat Penance but stat maxing takes ages...... So I don't know...
They not nearly strong enough yet and this is the second time I am to complete the game but the last time I had Kimahri with over 40.000 HP.

Well, fight some Species Creations and overkill them. Get loads of "HP Spheres", then you can make loads of HP nodes and get your HP at optimum level, im aiming for max stats too, though i havent faced a Dark Aeon yet and im not going to try, just yet anyway.

Dark Yojimbo is nasty. Only for the fact that you actually have to chase him through the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth and defeat him FIVE TIMES before it is actually counted as a defeat. To make matters worse, if you co back to the Save Sphere in-between battles it resets the counter to one and you start all over again. What fun.

I've defeated Dark Valefor, Dark Ifrit and Dark Bahamut. And the Dark Magus Sisters, but I used Yojimbo and Zanmato on them, so it half doesn't count. Heh.
