which boss is hardest to defeat...

In my opionion it was this robot that I cant remember the name...you can find it in the Calm Lands...near the entrance of Mt.Gagazet..Seymour was kind of easy...Anima and the other aeons were piece of cake.

It`s a close fight between Jecht at the end and Seymor at Mt.Gagazet. I had some times where Ject totaly waste me and same with Seymore.

I found it anoying fighting Seymour at the Ronso place, it took me 4 tries to beat him he kept healing himself until I cast reflect on him and used all my overdrives.

I would have to say either Seymore on Mt. Gagazet, or that bird thing you fight before you get into Bevelle

DEFINENTLY Seymore Flux (on Mt.Gagazet) He uses dispel all the time before that Cross Cleave, and if you actually manage to hit him with a Mega Flare then he uses Total Anialation(or however you spell it).

THAT is unless you have been in the Cavern of the stolen fayth and aquired Joijimbo or how the crap that name is spelled....the first time I played the game he totally kikced Seymore's ass for me

Rofl I beat Seymour in 7 turns. How? 1. In every FF game I train to the max before moving on with the story, and 2. I got every aeon's overdrive to the max and just blasted the crap out of Seymour. With Bahamut doing 25k and the rest 9999 I think it was pretty easy. The hardest battle would DEFINITELY be Sin, (DRRRR of course since he has immunities to almost everything @.@).

Here's a tip for having trouble with Seymour...do as I said just above, get your aeons up to overdrives, have Yuna summon, your strongest guy whacking the crap out of him, and a third member healing, (Al bhed potions work good). Other than that he's a pushover if you really haven't trained much.

evrae in bevelle cus its really annoying

i thought that ummmm hah well none of the bosses were tough i trained my ppl's ass off to win and it did pay off i have like 400 hours on it and u know that real tough monster u get in your like ( what was it called it was like a book with monsters and u can fight it ) well anyways there was a monster who was tougher than all the bosses combined i have 400 hours on my file and still cant beat him he's the hardest but hes no boss

The first was the hardest and the last was the easiest for me, as this was the first FF game I played and I do not normally play these types of games, however, I defeated them all the way up to Jeht, without hastega, without dispell, without reflect, or auto phoenix, no demi, or any of that, and I never got auto phoenix or hastega, as I was not familiar with the grid, started to understand it more towards the end when I got full life and dispell and reflect, I used the stuff that Rikku collected for most of the things I needed.

Penance is by far the hardest boss. Followed by Dark Yojimbo (you have to beat him 5 times consecutively).
In the NTSC version (without Dark Aeons and Penance), Nemesis in monster arena is by far the hardest boss. Although it took me like forever to beat that slug thing.
The regular (storyline) bosses are all whimps. I beat Sin/Jecht and that pathetic Yevon bug with one blow or so. I barely remember Seymour fights because I always walked over him like he's an ant.

P.S. - Here's a real simple tip for current FFX players. It's really obvious, but what you wanna do in-between stories is when you're near a save point, (outside, not inside), and can get into battles near it, fight continously over and over and when you get low, (including aeons), just save. Saving automatically heals your entire party and aeons. Saves you the trouble of running ALL the way back to town to get more potions and shit.

As for the hardest boss it would probably be that dragon before you get to the real zanarkand, for me it was hard. I actually haven't beaten FFX (I'm a lazy bastard), but Sin would most likely be difficult.

I stopped playing my saved game for a while and kinda forgot what I did and did not do, I know I fought some aeons, and think I got them all.... I know Dark Anima was easy, and I didnt use a strategy uide, I think I used an aeon to beat it, and I leveled Yuna up ALOT so there you go. But I cant remember the hardest boss for me... i guess I'll say Seymour on Gagazet on my first play through.

The hardest for me is definately Bizarro Sephiroth. I got to him when I was level 69. To me, that is a miracle.
