Final Fantasy X-3??

I've heard a rumor going around that they are going to make a FFX-3, were you get to be in braskas pilgramege, but, i think it is just a bunch of bull...

oh god no! a prequel nobody's asking for! although, the idea of being in braska's pilgrimage does sound pretty cool. i have a fanfic i'm working on based on the whole idea.

So, you get to play as Braska, Auron, and Jecht? Well that's kinda boring. It's like FFX-2, but with boys instead. I dunno... I haven't come across anything regarding this, so my best guess is that it's purely a rumor and nothing more.

I'll keep an eye out for information though.

There have been rumors about this for ages. Most like to imagine it will be based around Rikku. But what kind of story are they going to make around Spira again? They saved the world twice.

I don't think there's much chance of it. Ah well, you never know with Square.

i had heard both rumors. im sure they are only rumors, and i doubt they would make it. i wouldnt mind playing it if they made it tho

If they made a FFX-3, that would be going too far. I don't think the game would be very popular. I wouldn't buy it anyway. If it was just about Braska's journey, I don't think it would be very exciting imo.

it might not be very exciting, but i'd have to buy it. i just wouldn't feel right not buying it. my final fantasy shrine would seem like something is missing.

I think it would be cool if they made FFX-3 but I think it would be better if it was a continuation of FFX-2 with a good story line I would buy it probably just because I buy all the FF games.

I hope they just leave FFX and everything affiliated with it alone, to be honest. I think they're probably done with Spira, anyhow. I'm almost willing to bet they'll go after FFVII and wont stop until we've got products such as Final Fantasy VII: Cloud Strife jock straps, Final Fantasy VII: Sephiroth mustard (taste the eeeviiilll!), or maybe even Final Fantasy VII: Tifa tampons (have Tifa by your side as you battle Aunt Flow!).

If there is an X-3, perhaps it should also focus on the Al Bhed? Well, I'm not sure. Just a thought.

I've actually thought about this idea myself. It would be A lot like X-2 with boys, though somhow it would be different. It would not be a major release if a release at all. It would be a filler game to fill in on exactly what was going on during the Pilgrimage. Though its a good thought, because it would be a different take. Maybe adding what was going on in Zanarkand at that time would add to it. Maybe more of the game could take place before the pilgrimage, showing some of Jecht's life and how he's changed. Some of his struggles.

I've kept up with this thread, and I think there's some real good ideas going on here. I really like the idea of one focusing on the Al Bhed. Like maybe a game taking place early in spira's history, telling about why they were so scattered before rikku's dad brought unity back to them. and zanarkand. i think a good game could be made set in the days before zanarkand's destruction. maybe one where you could choose which side you're on, zanarkand or bevelle. bah! it's just an idea.
slightly off topic... another idea i have is a fighting game that includes characters from every ff series where you all can fight against eachother.

Part of me would like to know more about Tidus/Yuna after they emet back up, but it's like a re-occuring soap opera. They don't need a FFX-3. I think it will be qiute boring, saying it comes out, that is. Especially if it's about braska.

Indeed, it would be quite boring to see the journey of Braska and all that, I would prefer to see Yuna/ Tidus again, and Rikku/Gippal.
