How did the ending make you feel?

X-2 is actually a lot of fun though, and the story is half decent... And the ending is rather cute, if you unlock it

The mini games and the happy, pop star characters kinda persuade me not to buy it.

It is completly different from X, but might as well give it a try whilst waiting on XII being released. It isn't the best final fantasy, (that goes to VIII) but it is still worth a play!
And the ending, though cute, is nowhere near as awsome as the ending for X...

I thought the X-2 end wus pritty cool but I had only got the almost good end and watched the best on my brothers save.

Anger and Sad at the same time.

When Aroun left I was bent. I was sad because Yuna wanted to be with Tiuds really badly and it just broker her heart. It just really stinked seeing all that happened.

But seeing Tidus in the end swimming up gave me hope in the end. So its all good.

actually i feel normal, neither sad or angry. is good to see Yuna gets to continue her life without Tidus and in X-2, you can see them reuniting again. So i don't feel sad or angry.

I cried through that whole game. It started at HOME when Tidus found out what would happen to Yuna. Then it proceeded to get worse in Macalania woods at the lake. Then I lost it when Auron started to fade and the scene with Yuna and Tidus I could barely see through my tear filled eyes. Damn depressing game. Not as sad as the ending of FFVIII. I get emotional thinking about that last scene with Laguna and Raine.

It definately made me sad... especially since im a sucker for happy endings^^ i had been waiting for a happy ending for tidus and yuna throughout the game and the ending just made me feel like it was all for nothing! Thats why i was in such a rush to play X-2 because i wanted to find out if they would end up together after all!

Oh this was such a cruel ending. FFX was so film-ish and romantic films are supposed to have a happy ending but this was a real shock. After knowing that Yuna would live, you'd just want her to be happy. After all, no-one including herself, expected her to live. But she did and then the one who mattered most died on her - yes I say died as he was there one minute and gone the next. He may have faded but its still death - and there really was no happy ending. Yes there was the Eternal Calm - even if that was set to be destroyed 2 years later but what we all wanted couldn't happen. Credit to Tidus for facing his death and going peacefully and not holding on or fighting it but it was such a harsh ending.
The game may be all about death but you never expect two of the main good guys to perish once it's all been set right.

Still credit to Squaresoft for using that idea. It hadn't been done before - at least not in any FF I've played - and was a great idea.

And of course, seeing Tidus wake up after the credits made me very happy and I went off to Gamestation the next day to buy X-2 and get going on that. Seeing what happened after Tidus woke up was very satisfying.

But I love Yuna's final speech:
"The people and friends we have lost. Or the dreams that have faded...
Never forget them."

So nice. It's definitely above the lyrics from FF9:
"Melodies of Life. Come circle round and grow deep in our hearts.
As long as we remember."

I don't know. I sort of liked the game. But then again; it was way too depressive. I mean the whole thing was too sad unlike other FFs. The ending made me cry and it was cute and awsome and beautiful . Still FFX is not my favourite one. The plot was just too sad for me and it made me real depressed and I hate the feeling. On the other hand, I didn't like the beginning and...well, I didn't like Tidus as well...
