There is already a ff movie but it suckz and has nothing to do with final fantasy but ffx movie would b awesome id watch it like 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 times when the dvd came out or even the movie features!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be great, i mean if you have played it. You can see how the adventure is! It's super-cool, so if they were to make a movie after it i would watch it for sure. But i seriously doubt that will happen...

First of all, that would be so awesome! Secondly, I highly doubt they'll include every boss battle-the movie would be too long and it would take SE so long to make it, probably four years. It would be cool though.

I think that Square should make every game a movie, starting w/ the 1st one. Advent Children style, but without the long fight scenes. Just boss fights. Every game has the plot and story. They just need to fill in the blanks, like dialog along the way. Most enemies could make appearances. Each game could be made into a trilogy, Star Wars/Lord of the Rings style. Think of the money that could be made. Yo, I'm done pitchin my idea here. I'm loggin off to e-mail Square.

They tried Final Fantasy as an animated movie and it stunk. Didn't follow any of the games at all. Won't waste my money on third rate junk like that again.

I don't think that they'd make the story into a movie,even if they did a movie on FFX.It would be very long,which makes work even more demanding.They'd have to work for twice the time they worked on AC.If they did,they'd have to stick just to the story & skipp the sidequests,so,there will be controversies.They'll have to fight Jecht,for instance,without any of their stronger weapons & Yuna will do what?Summon Valefor?
It won't be something new,we already know the story & we'll know what's next,so there goes the interest. Another thing.If they made this movie,it would be released in 2-3 years after it's announcement & them,there would be a quetion surfacing:Now,do we also have to make a movie on X-2???They'll expect it,dammit!!! With SE being lazy arses,i don't expect much. |

cloudy is right the movie would be pretty long but look a the new version of Titanic. but i do think that it would make a cool story line to make a movie over.i know for a fact that i would go watch it. although i dont know how they would put in all of the hidden aeons and side quests in there because that would be off the story line so it may not be as long as you would think

A Final Fantasy X movie would without a doubt suck. Sales would do great since there are a lot of fans on it, but if Square can only put up something like advent children (that was also quite terrible) I'd have to say an FFX movie would follow in its footsteps.
And personally I don't want to see ANY FF game become a movie. The games are great because they are just that...games. If you take a look at most of them you'd see how hard it would be to make out a script that didn't suck. Cliche characters, cliche story, it just doesn't fit that well on screen. Just another batch of kids/adults trying to save the world like we've seen a million times before. I mean if anything the only game I think would be remotely possible to make a good movie out of would be FF6. And as long as it isn't a sequel or prequel, but a recreation of the game.
