Okay first, i might be crazy, but did anyone else actually like the 1000 words cutscene or song. So far i feel kinda alone on this one.

Well don't be alone, I like the song 1000 words. I like the song so much I have it downloaded on to my I-pod and also on my laptop.

I also thought that the song was good. I think I have it on my iPod too. I guess I listen to it occasionally when it randomly comes up or whenever I feel like listening to it. I think I might just like the Real Emotion song better though.

Hmm...

I don't like the version of the song that's in the game. However I found the longer, orchestrated version [7 minutes, I think?] and I quite liked that. MUCH better than the original, poppy game version.

The cutscene is pretty. That's it.

I found the Japanese versions of them from a FF shrine back when FFX-2 was first released in Japan. I listened to both of them quite obsessively to pain of my roommates. But definitely not alone I enjoy listening to it, all of the different versions that I have of it too. I think I have the original Koda Kumi version of it to before they made the smart choice to go with Jade Sweetbox I think it was. Its been 4 years since the game came out so my names and my obsessive compulsiveness over the game ended about that time too. But I still enjoy listening to the music. I always make sure to replace the FMVs whenever I play the game as well just because they are so enjoyable. Plus the American version of the FMV was really well done. They actually resynched the lips to the english voice, which made me quick happy. So it actually looks like she is singing not off, there are still a few moments where I think its a little funny. But overall its a reason I go back and replay or just simply turn the game back on.

Yeah, I thought the FMV was great. It was so sad and emotional...but really good. So don't think you're as alone as you say you are. That song and scene were just awesome.

Yeah, I pretty much liked the Jap version better. The problem with Jade Villalon's english version is that she has that sort of Britney Spear-ish voice, which is quite awkward. But I think it's the message of the song that counts. Heck, my friends even made a male version of it for a girl and they rocked. And I sang it (quite awkward, no?) in a school concert sometime last December.

The FMV was beautiful and the song was good but didn't like the voice as much, brought the song down in my opinion

1000 words is really a beautiful song.The first time this video played on the game I cried. It was really touching! I love when Yuna and Lenne both sing together! awesomeness!

I quite like 1000 Words. Both versions (In game and orchestrated) are great songs, but I prefer the in game version. I have both on my iPod and listen to them whenever they appear. The accompanying FMV was spectacular and great to watch. Squeenix was right to choose Jade to sing for them. ^^

When I first heard 1000 words I was a little unsure of it as I didn't give it much attention. I found the fourth chapter to have been some what short and restricted and even though in the end I found the song good, it was nothing that first time. But like I just stated, I like it now. It grew on me when I went back and listened to it in the Luca cinema. I did at one point have it on my psp but now its just limited to my computer.

I haven't heard of the orchestra version though which has been mentioned in this thread. So I'll have to listen to that one also. I have to admit that square enix haven't done half bad with the two songs they put on that game.

I loved this song. Since the last FMV was Yuna and Shuiyen in the Farplane, it was great so see one so good after such a long wait.

So sad and I love how what happens puts all the pointless fighting from the 2 groups into perspective.
Although I prefer the Besaid Island ending FMV more, this is one of the best from each FFX game.
