How does the Lady Luck dressphere work?

I'm confused. I'm trying to get two of my characters to get the Double Exp. and Gillionaire abilities. Does it just work for them or does it work for everyone. I'm pretty sure the Double Exp. only works for that character, but I'm not sure about the Gillionaire ability. I really wish the Double Exp. could multiply the experience gained in battle by two for each character that has the dressphere equipped. Also, do you have to have the Lady Luck dressphere equipped to have those abilities like Double Exp. and Gillionaire?

ummm yes you do have to have it equiped for those abilites to work as for the Gillionaire i think it works by just increasing the amount of gil you recive at th eend of a battle i hope that helps

Gillianire doubles the amount of gil you get at the end of a battle and double exp does what the name says. Its reall hard to train up the abbilties for them cause i only know double exp and i almost know gillionaire. Anyway you have to be in lady luck at the end of the match to get the double exp in you know the skill and it only works on the charcter that knows it.

I find it easy to use the LL DressSphere, I have Rikku as it. It does have good support techs, I think Double EXP is for the character who knows it, yeah. Two and Four dice is good.

all right thanks guys i get it now...with the lady luck dressphere on all characters i've been able to get them all past level 50 in no time.
