Actually now that I realized it, it depends on the garment grid, in the beginning of the game Leblanc only looked like Yuna because she was using Yuna's garment grid. So if you used, for example, a girl's garment grid, your appearance would make you look like a girl. So, judging from this, it is possible to keep your original gender as long as you have your own personal garment grid. So I'm pretty much agreeing with Drake on this, he made me realize it. I actually didn't think my thread would go so long...

i had to post in this topic {i'm a girl, by the way]
personally, i think it would be interesting to use a dressphere. most of the costumes look nice, but some of them are a little skimpy.. and i would look odd, since i am not thin, or fat (just average, i guess) But it would be nice, and i would use one even when it's not halloween..  Haha, imagine all the looks people would give you. it would be funny!

I thought dress sphere only changes clothes and ablities and not gender. Anyway, back to the question. I would use the dress sphere cause I am already a girl.

No way would i ever want to change my appearance into a girl's,never!!!But,when using a dressphere,theoretically,why would one's appearance change too.Only the clothes & abilities should change.That way i'd do it & go all out bersek.
