Shuyin : What do u think about him?
You know, I don't really think Shuyin was such a bad guy. I mean, sure if you think of him trying to destroy Spira with Vegnagun, then OF COURSE he'll seem like a bad guy. But I think he was just confused. All he was trying to do was to make Lenne happy.. what do you think about Shuyin?

I think he was just confused in a very weird way, I mean, destroying all of Spira just cause of Lenne? Well anyways I like him, I think he's cuter than Tidus but he sucked as a final boss, I killed him in like three hits.

Well Shujin is don't a bad guy. He lived in a very har time( zanarkand-war) and because of this war his attidutes of the live and the world has changed. The same exempla ist for example the people in the 2. Worldwar. All people who fought in the war have changed( for example scared). But shujin changed not in the way of scary but in the way of the hatred.

People do bizarre things in war, and also due to Love. He simply took the actions, that he felt would enable his love to be saved, and end a war which is never a nice thing. The way he chose to try it, was perhaps questionable but in a way good, as he stopped a hugely violent weapin from being used. So in my opinion, no not evil.
As a final boss, Nothing compared to Jecht. |

But anyways yeah, I don't think he's a bad guy, but he tried to act all evil and he didn't pull it off that well...why? Because he's good, darn it! Good people can't be evil in games. It just doesn't work...

=P well Yu Yevons also the "final boss" in X...that's how I consider Shuyin to be...except he's much cuter. And he says dumb things lol. I love Shuyin ^_^

I think he just went all crazy because his little girlfriend was going to be sent out there and could get killed.
He just made it easier for her to get killed... But yeah.. he's not a bad guy. He just loves the girl... and unfortunately, did stupid shit.

To be honest, I think he's just a waste. It's so obvious that they screwed up the storyline so that it seemed that Shuyin was Tidus or so at least Yuna thought anyway...well for a stretch of the game at least. And so, he has all the looks of Tidus and his sword moves and everything... I think he could have been a great character but they just did not develop his character really. It's a bit sad in all

Even though you dont get to find out much about him, Shuyin was my favourite character from FFX2, he was mysterious, handsome and had a cool sword thing. I didnt think much to Lenne because Yuna's way cooler.

Seriously, I haven't played the game completely and then I read this topic a little and ruined it for myself.  >_>Okay, what do I think of Shuyin? Well until I read that before, I thought he was quite a nice guy who wanted to protect his love and stay with her. Obviously there's more to him than that. Thanks to the people who didn't ruin it for me lol. Spoilers on the title would be good for next time, eh?  I was expecting to see girls or something drooling over him or something but no. I guess it was my silly fault.

I liked him.Hes a good character.and a nice guy to want to protect his love.But if hes waking up vegna gun hes a mean guy.I still don't understand much about him,or why he wanted to kill everyone,probably his rage huh?and his guilt.
