I couldnt stand the garment grids. It was annoying and was just stupid. They should have just given you a list of the different dresspheres and let you choose out of them when you were fighting. I didnt like that you were kind of limited to a certain amount of dresspheres.

I ****ing agree with you all the way and the thing is, I got the strategy guide and it doesn't even tell you how to get the Garment Grids, The End and that other powerful one, the one next to The End. Garment Grids suck, and I don't even use their power ups, I just use Unerring Path [especially in the Via Infinito, you'll get killed instantly]

Yeah, I also got the stradegy guide to it too and I was confused about all that too. I get how to use the garment grids now, but it was so confusing through like... the first 4 chapters. I usually use the garment grids with more little slot things to use more dresspheres.

Thumbs up

Garment Grids were very useful with the right ones. I just made them all in my favor and it made the game so much easier. I used the ones with those powerup type things or the ones that let you automatically use other dress-spheres abilities.

i did NOT like it. i much prefered the sphere grid in ffx. i think i would much rather just have all the dresspheres to scroll through rather than having to place them on a grid.

The Garmit grids r easy! Wen u start 2 get the hang of them, they become really handy! I used them alot in boss battles. It is annoyin at times, but u'll get over it 1 day!

i thought the garment grids added stratedies in boss battles and other major parts of the game. if you had each character know most or all the abilities of certain types of dresspheres, then you can just use that character for those certain types of dresspheres and put those on thier garment grid. for example, day you made paine use magic the most, like the black mage, white mage (this dressphere was sorta ironic for paine, same for songstress but that sorta goes under magic so...), use paine also for songstress and other magic-ish dresspheres. then use a garment grid that increases magic when you pass through those little gate things. and then use yuna for the stronger ones, and rikku for the sort-of pointless dresspheres. and you can use any of the characters for anything you want, this is just what i thought of.

I never used the "advantages" of individual Garment Grids. I just took one, stuffed it with Dresspheres and hardly changed them in battle.
The only Garment Grid I took advantage of was the Unerring Path, since it had only two slots and that was the only reasonable way I could learn new abilities with the girls' Special Dresspheres.
I may use the Garment Grids more when I teach every girl every ability.

I really don't have a strong opinion of it, but once I found out how the Garment Grids worked, it seemed pretty easy and didn't seem like a problem.

I liked the idea of a Garment Grid and I also think it was simpler than the Sphere Grid. To my opinion, the limitations were made for you to choose the necessary jobs needed for a certain battle and maybe the necessary attributes fit for a certain type of job. I think it was cool though, the abilities that were attributed were fun.

I didn't like it at first. I stuck with one or two grids throughout most of the game. I did like the Power of the Swords grid, being able to use swordplay at critical moments was nice.

There were almost too many grids to chose from.
