Was final fantasy x-2 really a good game?

Exactly, that is one of the reasons why I stopped playing it. It's an alright game but not the best. I can't comment on it completely because I'm about a quarter of the way through it. I've had the game for over a year and that's how far I have gotten. I just get so bored of it very easily. It was fun at first but it just got old for me very quickly. It doesn't appeal to me anymore and I never want to play it.

i only played up till when u have to find thoose ancient things outside yuna's himetown. but thts cus i could find all the things tht had the numbers on them. but so far it had seemed extremely easy.

but it has 90% ending and 100% ending..I haven't reached the full ending..
because my anger has almost reached 100% I watched the video that showed the full ending..-___________________________-
but anyway,it's easy but as a final fantasy x fan,I can't resist completing it..it's still a game

It is very easy, but you've gotta love the battle system with the garment grids and job changing. Actually thinking about it, that which made it a little interesting is also responsible for how easy it was....

As for 100% completion, I reckon it would be nigh on impossible without another playthrough and frequent saves in case something was missed. Patience is definetly needed...

like i said b4 i got stuck but it was a ok game. but one thing ive heard some1 complain about in a post was he said he didnt like the way u moved from city to city in 10 tht probably alppyied to 10-2 also.

The first hint was FFX. While a fabulous game I found it rather dissappointing as an FF title. First, the voice overs. While the voice actors did a, generally, good job, I felt that it took something away from the games...mystique. I felt somehow, less connected to the characters. Less involved.

I suppose this was partly due to the fact that in more recent FFs like VII and IX, you had all these choices as to what to say and do in certain situations, but in X they seem to regress back to "You do and say what we tell you to." Then you realize that FFX isn't a game. That's right, FFX isn't a game. It's a somewhat interactive movie. Think about it.

Take two steps, watch an FMV, take two more steps, watch an FMV, fight a few battles, watch an FMV. If it takes forty hours to beat, you probably are only actually playing about ten or fifteen of those hours. Always with the FMV's. Your supposed to play a game not watch it.

This whole thing is excacerbated by the games linearity. No world map. Just a long road connecting each city. You get to a city, watch a bunch of FMV's, maybe fight a boss, then walk to the next one and do it all over again. You can't just wander around looking for trouble. And you can beat the game without ever going to any particular place more than once.

Then you get the Airship, and yay, you get to fly that around and find all sorts of hidden stuff, right? Wrong. Instead of being able to roam the world in your shiny new airship like in every other FF game, you have thissucky map that you have to run a curser over pressing a button hoping to stumble onto something. While choosing destinations from a list. It's just not the same. In every other game getting the airship was one of the great highlights, but in X, noooo.

Then there's the characters. I can't stand Tidus, he's a girly, cry baby...man. And I hated Seymore. But not in the "Damn you, Salazar!! " great villain kinda way. More, the "get your hands off my girl!" kinda way. Not that i liked Yuna. If I may quote myself:



The games only redeaming factors was Auron, Rikku, the battle system, the sphere grid, and what really was a pretty good story.

Then they made a sequel. The first sequel in Final Fantasy history. And it was made for what I consider the worst game in the series. And worse yet it opens with a bad Britney Spears impression. A Britney Spears impression is bad enough, but a BAD Britney Spears impression? What magic compelled them to do such a thing...*shudder*

I think X-2 pretty much sucked :/
I played it because it continued on the story I guess from FFX.
And the dress spheres I thought were pretty awesome.
But I thought the story in this one was pretty lame >.<
And like one of the bits that bugged me about was the Gunner mission ¬¬

i liked it though... it was something different then what i've played before

i did hate blitzball, which was a turn down after the performance of FFX blitzball(possibly best minigame from any game)

the story was still touchy, just the way i like it, probably the reason i hated FFXII's story but loved this story...

lol.. the game is not bad.. but most importantly i played it as it was just for the sake of seeing what happen to yuna and tidus... did yuna manage to find tidus.. but the ending is not that convincing to me... i want to know what happen to tidus... and what they planning to do after they get together... hope there is FFX-3

I didnt like it to awfully much because it was not turn based everyone attcked immediatly not giving me enough time to think about my choices so i basicaly only used attck rly quick becausei had no time to think it over
