Who is your favorite character out of these three? I like Ward the best. His weapon is awesome and he has a really cool limit.

Difficult to say, I hate all of them XD They were just annoying every time they got screentime. <_<" But I voted for Kiros, because I thought that he was most useful in battle. (Okay, also depended on the GFs you gave him, but well...)
I hate Laguna. He was so useless and his personality was... well, I just wanted to hit him for being so strange xD" All this about Julia was quite nice, but the rest was annoying. Okay, I think he didn't really have much personality - but the bit he had was annoying.
Ward... was quite a shadow to me. He didn't matter. He was just... air. I didn't recognize him. XD" (Sorry to all Ward fans!)

I pretty much agree with the first few lines in the post above.. They all struck me as kind of annoying as well. I guess if I'd have to pick, I'd go with Laguna, because he had a cool limit break.

Well I didn't find them that annoying and I didn't hate them but I didn't pay much attention to them. These three were completely the same to me even tho Laguna was connected to the main story. Out of these three I picked Ward for no particular reason.

They really should have saved these three characters and made them a prequel/sequel to the game.. I actually enjoy their story and the flashback scenes. Don't know why people hate them.

Their contributions are usually very hilarious! Great way to escape from emo Squall who has a shocking penchant for killing conversations. I voted Laguna, as Kiros and Ward are really unnecessary, they could have been any type of character and it still would have worked fine. You need them so that you still have three characters to do battle.

Hmm...I never thought of it like that before, but it does make sense to me.

I voted for Laguna for no real reason other than I really have no strong opinion of the other two. However, I do think he's pretty pathetic as far as a character goes. I still don't understand why he eventually became President of Esthar. Seemed like a pretty piss-poor leader to me.

Laguna fun fact: He is ranked seventh in EGM's top ten video game politicians (I have no idea which issue, I read that in wikipedia).

wow lots of haters on this poll. I had a hard time choosing between Laguna and Kiros. i liked laguna because his personality was so conflicting with squall xD, he had a much goofier disposition than other FF characters. I think it was a nice break from the cold, brooding, and dark personalities of squall, sephiroth, and cloud. but I thought kiros's weapons were awsome! so I voted him.

Laguna is my favourite.. not just he Looks cooL and great, but he's cute too and aLso funny in some scenes especiaLLy with his Love, JuLia.. :-) And.. he got cooL Limitbreaks and I Love his gun.. LoL!

Laguna is funny and Kiros has cool weapon.

I like Ward the best, because he is big and goofy and has an awsome weapon. His limit break is pretty damn awsome and by far the best out of the three.

Out of those three, Laguna. I have no idea why, but I absolutely loved playing the dreams as Laguna, Kiros, and Ward. I think it was because sometimes I actually wished Laguna was the main character of FFVIII instead of Squall. I just really liked Laguna for some reason.

Yeah, Laguna. He was too funny at times. Like the post above states when he tried to speak to Julia, his leg would cramp up and he would hobble around the place, I loved it. He was very talkative and a fun character in general. Kiros and Ward were alright too but as someone else said above me, they weren't all that necessary. They don't really contribute to the storyline like Laguna does. Ward did a little but he was only a janitor at the jail. You don't hear the others talk about him or Kiros a lot through out the game.

Usually I didnt even pay attention to these three, but I would choose Laguna. Simply because he has ties to the story line and he was just an all around weird-o. Also you gotta love the leg cramps!!!

I like Laguna. Out of all the characters being believeable enough to fall asleep while talking to a girl, only Laguna could make it happen. Therefore, I vote for him.

Well, Fist would be Laguna, and second Kiros. Ward was not that great to me, he was just kind of there, the same goes for Kiros but I just thought he looked a little cooler and I liked his fighting stance.
