This game is fun and good!!! It's not as good as the rest of the final fantasy series but still good!!! I didn't beat the game yet but....I will and so far I love it!!!

I really like FFVIII - it's my favourite from the series. The storyline is good and keeps you hooked, the characters are good (admittadly some are a little under-developed, but hell this is a game after all - you don't need to know every little detail about your characters).

So, yeah i really like. Tis truly awesome - and I don't say that about most things!

yes its good, the game is graphics wise and the gameplay was good the only downfall for me was the story good content but confusing in time compression

I thought Final Fantasy VIII was a decent game, I liked the gameplay, the romance, and the characters were great. The only problem to me was the game seemed to bore me at times, but I guess that happens to some RPG games sometimes. Last thing I didn't like was the draw points for magic spells and a character was limited on how many spells he or she could use.

FF8 is a good game, it just depends on the maturity level of the player and what they understand. It also leans closer towards Sci-Fi/Fantasy.It doesn't do the whole steamwork-medieval thing that everyone's used to in the older Final Fantasies.

FFVIII is AWESOMES! It is my favourite FF of all time. =3 I really enjoyed the story line, game play and (most) of the characters. Like Ann said, it does lean towards Sci-Fi with the whole TC thing and can be a little complicated if you are too young.

When I first played FF8 I hated it. That was due to not reading anything. Played it again months after that and enjoyed it. Then came FF9 and I fell in love with that game. Then maybe a year later I picked up FF8 again and played it through. I honestly didn't like it as much as I did for 7, 9, 4, and Tactics. But, maybe 5 months ago I was talking to a friend of mine about all the FF games and he reminded me what was good about FF8. Now FF8 is my top 3.

You're asking if a game is good on a forum based around the series...yes it's extremely good. Personally it's my favorite, not that I've beaten all of them but I do hold a special place for this one particularly
