Byt the way, the discoleration on my lip is an illusion, it's the normal color of my lip showing through the design that fills my picture, closer examination would have shown that. Last I checked this was a topic about Rinoa, not people's lips. You could've asked via PM or at least made a small PS in an on-topic post instead of devoting a whole off-topic post to it.

well i never beat the game yet...(too busy with school work) but reading this made me want to finish it. But I guess Rinoa is okay even if she does get into a lot of probelms.....her dog is cute though,lol

Rinoa was charming at first, but she lost her charm, quick.
I personally liked Zell, Irvine, Quistis, and Selphie WAY more than I liked Squall and Rinoa, so, I really didn't enjoy how the game went from fairplay for all the chars, to just centering around the two lovebirds.

She's cute, but she's the epitome of the 'damsel in distress,' which is hilarious because she had higher stats than Squall does.

If she didn't have to be saved seven times, I'd have liked her more...but, FF8 just turned into "Save Heartilly, Again."

Rinoa. Meh. I mean after first meeting her (as Squall of course, not in person) I thought she was just great n' all, but over time that charm of hers became more one of annoyance, especially after disk 3. Squall repeadedly having to save her from almost everything. I know she's not a SeeD, or a fighter but, couldn't they have gieven her a little bit of a more interesting background?

A secret agent working for a rival mercenary band or something who knows how to hold her own and who doesn't come off as a spoilt and loud mouthed girl?

Meh. She was boring. Cute, but boring.

I think they did fine with Rinoa. She was part of a resistant group, I think that's good enough. She was a bit quirky, too, as her resistant group was a little sloppy at what they did, and Squall would tease her train idea. I like a character that has flaws. She's not just a stupid damsel in distress, she also wanted to do things on her own.

I liked Rinoa. I never had a problem with her like I know some people did. I didn't like overall how she wasn't on the team all the time. But in the end I found her useful. I used Quistis when she wasn't around but I found Rinoa better overall. I liked her limit breaks and attacks more anyway.

I like how realistic Rinoa was, actually. She was uncoordinated and had little experience compared to the rest of the group because she isn't a SeeD member. But, it was obvious that with will and determination she was able to push herself and make up for her weaknesses. I was impressed that someone so inexperienced kept up with the rest of the team and that was admirable. There were parts where she was bratty and annoying but she is just acting human, which is she is supposed to be. Good job, square. =]

I can't really say I liked her or hated her, seeing as she was an alright character over all. She had her moments where I was like "Omg, she's a great character!" and those times where I just wished she wasn't in the game, but that's normal with any game character.

At first I saw her as a weak character, but after the Lunar Pandora [I think that's what it was called...I can't think of it right now] event, my perspective changed dramatically since she technically got stronger and more useful afterwards.

She gets a bad rap from a lot of people, but I always liked Rinoa. ^^ She's a very sweet character, and you'e gotta give her credit for putting up with Squall's lack of personality(inmyopinion) as long as she did. X_O

well in the beginning I didn't like her (quistis was my pick of the girls) but as time went on she became a better developed character but yea the damsel in distress was WAYYYY overplayed in disk 3

Rinoa was a funny character, she seemed to be in trouble all the time and Squall always ends up saving her. But she was a loving character and man ain't she cute. I wish I had a girl like her.

I think every guy wishes she was his girl friend. She was pretty good. I was always motivated to save her. Just Squall pissed me off cause he was always so cold to her, but he meant well.

Well... there was good and bad things about her.

With Squall, she was much too needy. I don't necessarily mean about the "I need to be saved" thing, either... It did get annoying after the fifty-hundredth time, but it annoyed me that she's much rather talk about irrelevent things or "feelings" rather than get on with the current mission...
Sometimes, it wasn't really too bad, but it almost became a constant thing.

I found her to be quite childish at times...

She was an okay fighter, though. She had times where she wasn't that bad to have in the party, either.

She's not one of my favourite characters, though.

I really liked Rinoa. I personally would love it if she stayed with Seifer and Squall went out with Quistis. But unfortunately it took a woman like Rinoa to turn an emo like Squall around.

I thought she was alright at first. She seems to be a bit of a whiner at times. She was an overall good character to me though.

I love Rinoa's hair lol! When I was a kid I wished I had her hair and blue outfit . About her character, I think she really was a great character and it was nice to see her finally rescue Squall for a change.

However, I hate how most of the attention was fixed on Squall and Rinoa post disc 2. I think VIII should have focused more on minor characters and Squall's relationship w/ them. Anyway, Rinoa was cute and her limit breaks were awesome.

She was great character and had useful traits like invincible moon or was it invisible it's been awhile since i played it. I didn't like the wings final where she used magic. The dog was very funny.
