The gunblade is awesome and all, but you just can't go past the Shotgun when it comes to coolness. No matter what the game, Shotguns are cool.
I will say the COOLEST shotgun ever was in the game 'Dark Watch'.

Squall's Gunblade. Easy kills, helped me out against fight with Omega Weapon when I used Aura, Meltdown, Hero Drink thing, [forgot what it was called] and Lionheart. Besides, it looks cool and seems to be the most powerful.

I like the gunblade. Squaresoft did a great unique job when they included the gunblade!

The gunblade is withought dought the most popular weapon from FF8. But if I had to pick the weapon that suits me the best, I would pick the spear or the gun, as I like them more. So here my vote went to the spear

Its gotta be the gunblade. What's not to like about slicing an enemy in half and blasting his brains out at the same time.
