Junction was unbelievably useful, you could put your characters on like 3000HP or so at the very beginning of the game and stuff. Although, MP was much more simple to use, just use an Ether when your run out of MP but the problem with Junctioning was that when you use Junctioned Magic it lowers the junctioned stat so I would have to with MP myself.
