Of course I did.

Odin, Bahamut, Doomtrain, Eden and Tonberry King was my fav's.

Odin was AMASING when he came riding on his horse into battle just to eliminate all the monsters.

I liked the boost stuff even if it was tireing (and NO I never liked using turbo)
But I found a way to boost them up real good

Also every FF game with Bahamut is almost worth playing just because of him, HE IS THE FREAKIN KING!!!!!!!

Yeah, I really liked the Final Fantasy VIII Guardian Forces. They were very handy during boss battles until you became strong enough to defeat them with your weapons and magic. I found it annoying that we had to watch the clip of them attacking over and over again, I wish you could turn it off like in Final Fantasy X, or make it shorter because I think it goes on too long and it gets boring to watch. There were awesome GF's though. Bahamut was one of the best.

I never really used them myself, unless it was a long battle and i needed some help. Undoubtedly the best Gf has to be Cactuar and his 1,000 needles attack. The main thing i used the GF for is Junctioning, considering it is vital for your characters survival, and it can make them very powerful (100 meteors on Str? I think so!)

I loved them, but by Disk 3, you shouldn't really need to use them, although without them, powering up your characters stats would be impossible.

Specific GF's attacks I liked were Shiva's Diamond Dust, Ifrit's Hell Fire, Quezacotl's Thunder Storm and Diablos's Dark Messenger.

I used gf's in the begining, I used them upto the spider battle. After that I don't use them until the final battle of the game. I found that in the battles where I used them it was easier. Still though I always strayed away from using them most of the time. I think that they're very good but sometimes it can be a pain if they die before you can junction them in the battle. I used Eden, Ifrit, and Shive mostly, I used others, but usually those were the only ones.

I found them very conveniant, not just for battle but for their abilities too)The ones where you can swap items for magic, the shops, and card mod especially. HP+ are good for when your characters arent at the highest levels too.

My favorite GFs were leviathan, bahamut, and cerberus but i also really liked the semi-GFs like Odin, Phoenix and Moomba. I like the boco idea of raising him as a GF to be summoned by gyshal greens, but its annoying that in the UK that the playstation pocket was never released, which was compulsory to level him up.

I liked them...sort of. I got by without using them in battle, but obviously they're useful if for junctioning alone. I found that Quezacotl was really useful against X-ATM092 (The spider robot at Dollet) early on, but that was pretty much it.

I liked being able to rename them.

Shiva is become "Cool Girl" (A pun on "call girl" for all you pimps out there.)
Ifrit was renamed "Mr. Burns"

Um... who else did I rename?

Pandemona = Windbag
Leviathan = Goa'uld
Doomtrain = Thomas, after Thomas the Tank Engine.
Diablos = Venger, after the villain from Dungeons & Dragons, the 80's cartoon series.
