My favourite summon is Odin, of course , but yeah the whole way he came in and killed who ever you were fighting with 1 slash, and I hated that stupid Gilgamesh summon. Also I quite liked Diablos and Bahamut, they looked awesome and done quite a bit of damage so they were quite useful. As for the Abilities, they all had useful abilities, Diablos had the very useful Encounter None whilst Cactaur had all the bonus's, and having both can make your guys like tanks.

Odins 1hit kill was always fun. No one can complain right? But if he fails then you would have to say Diablos, lvl 100 he can do massive damage, pity its not against bosses tho.
Tonberri for his shop abilities, eden becasue, well.... who wouldn't? But the clip is a bit long, can easily pump him up tho, which is good. I have a massive soft spot for Shiva... Shes always been a fave since 7. Also Cerebus, he was always very handy. ^_^
the Gf's all round were good... slighly useless when you compair them to the desperation moves, but fun all the same.

yeah i loved the summons odin was great but the bahamut cutscene was great.
my mate got annoyed though when he got gilgamesh he wasnt happy he stopped playing the game because of it

i loved the GF's. they helped alot in the start of the game and a few were good all the time. my personal favourite would be bahamut

the ff8 gfs are some of the best of any game at least that is what i think

My favorite is diablos...Darkside ability with squall as well as Ifreit's +20% and +40% streanth makes Squall a force to be reckoned with. not even the jumbo catar could stand the attacks.

Yeah i like the gf's. and most of them werent in any other games, so that's cool. Besides Shiva, Ifrit and Bahamut, some of the ones i enjoyed where tonberry, cactaur, leviathan. Eden was a good and powerful gf.

I liked them quite a lot cuz there where alot of 'em. My favourite is Leviathan.

i like the gf in ffVIII, but if the grafik more soft it will very good

I put "Sort off" because I dont really use them but Odin proved to be very useful and powerful, I dont think the GFs in general are that good but they add a bit more to the game I suppose.

hehe i liked em. I didnt so much use em near the end (eden but that's it). But i loved thier abilites, and the fact that u can boost em. Gives u somethign to do.. haha. But i liked the fact that they can make u stronger. str and HP bonuses, call shop, etc

I really like the GF's for 8.I hated the ones for 9,but the ones for 8 are wicked powerful and have awesome animations.My favorite is Shiva,she looks so awesome and always does the most damage.

yeah, i like the GF's. most of the time atleast. the length of their attacks was a little annoying sometimes, but they rock.
