Who liked the part when you....

congratulated Squall in disc 2? I loved it! I loved making up the music but it was a shame you didn't get to add it all together before performing it. I used

Zell: Guitar
Irvine: Violin
Selphie: Flute
Quistis: Tap

That is my fave combo Is there anything like this on the internet? I just loving adding sounds together.

I don't remember what combination of characters and instruments I used, but I do remember that it had a kind overall oldies kind of sound in the end. I think I remember putting Irvine on the bass, or something, and Quistis on the saxophone, however. I only used instruments that might be used in a rock and roll song, too; none of them "classical" instruments for me.

The scene itself was alright. I I rarely particularly care for those "innovative" scenes where you are forced to do something, besides fighting monsters, that will decide the outcome. At least this one didn't have any bad consequences, say, for picking a bad combination, or something (at least as far as I know.) I think I remember that part as being a slow part in the game for me, however.

Yeh, I liked that part too. Had some good music.

Plus the Saxophone plays Eyes On Me.

Yeah, I really enjoyed that scene too. I remember making the music sound horrible on purpose, it sounded so cool lol. Depending on which instruments you use, the conversation with Rinoa and Squall will go differently. I thought it was funny how they basically started arguing. I'm not really sure which instruments I used, it's been a while since I last played that part.

I don't have the strategy guide with me anymore, but I know I made it...not the jig sounding one, but the other. I saw which instruments you had to use, so I just was lazy and took it from the book. it was a good part, and amusing to watch too.

It's a shame! I wish I kept the save file just before it.

Snave, haha, yeah, I had a save file before that part.

I loved that bit. I made some really crappy sounding music, and would just laughing my ass off about it for ages.

Yeah! I loved getting Zell to tapdance! Ha ha ha! Zell of all people!

Anyway, yeah that minigame was fun. Especially when Rinoa and Squall start arguing because of Squall being a moody guts. Irvine leaving that porn mag for Squall was good too, with how he doesnt find it funny in the slightest. I say horray for Selpie for organising the event.

I thought Irvine on the flute was hilarious.

Zell tapdancing, Irvine on the flute...

I don't know, I actually have this image of Irvine tapdancing so maybe it just doesnt have the same effect as Zell...

I put together the exact same combo as Snave.
First of all, I was in a very good mood during that moment, so I chose the cheery melodies.
I thought it fit for Zell to play a guitar - bass or acoustic - so I gave it to him.
I gave the violin to Irvine probably because I thought that he is the person who should have the talent to play it.
Why make Quistis do the tapdancing instead of the more energetic Selphie? Because I wanted Quistis to show more energy now and then and the colour of her outfit suited the centre stage better than Selphie's.
In the end, it's Selphie on the flute- a wind instrument. Selphie is like the wind, an unbound elemental force.
