Ultimecia and Rinoa look alike

I looked at pictures of both Ultimecia and Rinoa. They do look very similar but Rinoa's eyes are brown and Ultimecia's are a yellow/green colour.

Overall... I don't think they are the same person. I'm probably wrong lol because I'm normally am. I guess we'll never find out.

I think it's ridiculous, but it would have been cool....if this were true, if at the end of the game they gave you some inclination or hint to suggest that after Rinoa and Squall were together for a long time that she was going to become evil.

Kind of like Skywalker losing his arm in Star Wars Phantom Menace...it was like a sign of things to come when he clutched at Padmay with that ice cold robotic arm during there wedding ceremony.

Remember the Junction Machine Ellone? How else was Ulty able to mind control Seifer and Edea?

Also, Anakin got his hand cut off in The Attack Of The Clones, NOT The Phantom Meanace.

I do believe it, in the FMV scene in the ending, there are patches and flashes, and rinoa runs towards the camera and her white wings come out and flash black twice.

Rinoa is ultimecia, undoubtedly.

Wow... You've really given me something to think about... Very Intresting theroies....... But in the end I still think that they are different charictors for the simple fact that Rinoa could never hurt Squall weather in the future or not she loved him.

My other reason for thinking that Rinoa and Ultimecia are two different people is the simple fact that she would not be able to kill her self in the past and still be alive in the future.... I personaly let Rinao die to see if any thing happened... It didn't .......also Ultimecia would not go back in time and let her self get so messed up ( at the space station) and almost kill her self by going in to space with limited Oxygen.... It is Just Not Believeable..... That is That!

No, it ain't, for i disagree. You said ol' Rhino would never hurt Squallers, right? Who can say she'd start hurting when she changed? In fact, you mentioned Anakin right? He adored Padme, aka Amidala and would protect her--that he did, at first, twixt The Phantom Meance and The Attack Of The Clones, but when he finally turned to the dark side, only then did he do in the love of his life with the force choke hold. So who can say the same thing might happen also to Rhino, when she turned evil and in the end, dispatched the one she loved, Squall that is, and just like ol' Darth, scream "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"
(cue The Beatles' I Am A Loser) before losing it and finally turn full evil, and Ultimecia? You never know......after all, Edea said that Ulty's soul was full of anger.....hint, hint.....

Heh. That is an odd nickname for Rinoa. Seeing as a rhino is a large mammal with horns on its snout, and it likes to gore you when you get too close. Although it kind of does make sense to call her that, since the spellings are kind of similar... minus the "h," and add an "a" at the end, and you get "Rinoa." Cleverness... or I'm tired. Either one.

Anyway, it'as interesting that whatever you name Squall's ring turns out to be Griever's name. And a number of other things Porcelain pointed out, with the quote at the beginning of the game, and the end, and etc. But then there's also what gfmaster points out, that if Ultimecia killed Rinoa... wouldn't she be killing herself? Unless she's from some alternate timeline, or dimention, or something, a la John Tutor...

One thing I'd like to point out: Ultimecia had an accent, and Rinoa didn't

Maybe Rinoa's way of talking changed when she changed into the U-gal. Did anyone stop to think of that? Also, supposing Ulty just spared Rhino, and placed her in a coma dormant state, yet wiped out the other SeeDs? And remember, Ulty's soul was, according to Edea, full of anger, that even if she bumped off Rhino, it be a small thing to pay, having sown the seeds of evil galaxy wide, a succession of evil witches....? Sort of like an evil version of SeeD, maybe?

What you guys are failing to understand is that If Ultimecia was Rinoa than she would not risk killing her self in the past until the time compression was complete... If she killed her self from the past than the so called Ultimecia-Rinoa would not be able to exist... It's a time Paradox... Like in back to the Future when Marty changed his parents history... and he was never born....

Well if you are an evil sorceress who is trying to achieve time compression wouldn't you have already solved that problem? she's a sorceress she could do anything her spirit may comeback and take over another body like in some anime or cartoon or whatever. I have some points my self. Like there is no answer to why ultimecia wants to achieve time compression right then what if she wants to see squall again then thats her reasonbut she can't remember Sqwuall anymore because of her anger of seeDs'.

I've heard people talk about whether it is her or not, in the future as Ultemicia. I do believe it's her, I think the resemblance between her and Rinoa are just to great to just brush off as a resemblence. In the end I could be wrong, but I believe they are 1 in the same.
