FFVIII remake!

Lots of people have been talking about a FFVIII sequel which would be cool, but what sounds even better to me is an FFVIII remake on the PS3! I'm sorry if this has all been said before but it did say in the official Playstation mag that Square are considering remakes for FF7 and 8!

How brilliant would that be! All those wonderful characters with PS3 graphics and voices! And SEIFER! Wow!

I really hope they do this but how about y'all?

Yes, that would be a nice idea. Some added SeeD missions would be a bonus.

if they were to do that, they need to put a fmv list on there so you can see the fmvs again you unlocked throughout the game.

It would be so awesome if they remade FFVIII for Playstation 3. It would look so much better than the original and they would have voices!

Imagine what the FMV scenes would look like?

Always new that Final Fantasy VIII must remake ....
Especially its is the most ( Top Sells ) version of Final Fantasy ...

The Same Characters , But New GFs and Quests ... Voice and new limit breaks !
I cant imagine it !!!!!!! It is going to be AWSOME !

It'd definately be interesting, but I wouldn't exactly care that much for it.
Yeah, it'd be nice to see some new, upgraded graphics and some upgraded skills, but...I don't think I'd buy it, mainly because it'd cost a hell of a lot, and I have the original anyway.

I hasnt been long enough for FFVII or FFVIII to be remade. Though if they did make a remake i would buy it the day it came out.

And yeh i have that issue of Playstation Mag and i think it is an old issue cause Square has decided not to make any remakes at the moment (i think).

But we can always hope right?

^Actually, a Final Fantasy VII remake is pretty eminent with the current demand the consumers are voicing. And Square has been implying a remake way too often for it to not be a true future plan of theirs. I figure the movie they made to show off the PS3 graphics was not, as they claimed, just a teaser but rather a true begin at this project. The trailer was just a way to test how big they could stir up the fans. Had nobody cared, they would have immidiately scrapped the idea but as is, you can bet on it.

As for a FFVIII remake, I don't see it happening anytime soon. FFVIII might have a big fanbase but there are many other titles that have a much bigger one. Also, there have been absolutely no indications, no hinting, no slips of information, nothing. Don't get your hopes up.

Actually Akira, there was a scene that was redone for Final Fantasy VIII on the PS3. If you search on Wikipedia, you can find it. It's a redone version of the dance.
