The storyline was already screwed up. SE needs to focus on either new games, or games worthy of remakes (FFV, FFVI, FFVII, FFIX, and FFX)

If they remade it I'd be happy. I think they would have to put voices in the game which is scary since it can really make or break a game. They should as I saw someone say add a little more for like SeeD missions. I figure you just got a taste and was sent onto a big mission, they should have you get ready for it. But only time will tell.

it would be great to see a remake, but a sequel would be better i think. but i don't think it will happen. as much as i hate to say it final fantasy viii was not as popular as some of the other final fantasy. i think the only reason for its lack of popularity is that it was following final fantasy vii. i think it is one of if not the best final fantasy to date. i would love to see ether a remake or a sequel. i hope to be wrong.

Someone already started that idea up.. I believe it was Tiger Lily. If you look in her signature, I believe she has a link to it there so if you want to sign it, go ahead and look for it. I think other people might have a link in their sig's too. I think there have been many petitions for a remake but I don't personally think it will happen any time soon, or at all. Who knows though, anything is possible.

Well for starters, you might not want to double post because that is against the rules. You might want to read the rules of this site before you post again. Second, I think they are trying hard to get more publicity and more people to sign it.

I'd like to see a remake but I won't be getting a PS3 anytime soon so I don't know how that will work. A sequel would be pretty good too in my opinion but I don't think they could get a whole game out of it.

Uhh... source? I won't believe anything until SE make an actual announcement. If it's true... cool I guess? I haven't heard of a single thing about the remake, it might be just rumors again just like the stuff you hear about a FFVII remake..
