When did you defeat Diablo?

Just curious, but when did everyone defeat Diablo? (if you got him) I defeated him first try strait after getting the lamp from Cid, but that was only because I had low levels, lots of HP, lots of Magic and a hell of a lot of luck. I guess I also cheated a bit because I watched my friend do it on her game first, then went and looked up what he was weak against and stuff ^_^;;; But anyway, when, what levels and how did you do it?

well i had the strategy guide but i did it right when you get the lamp i just saved first

I think I defeated Diablos later on in the game. I tried defeating him first up but couldn't. I think I forgot about him for a while then realised later on that I still had to defeat him. The second time was pretty easy though!

yeh, i fought him once i got the lamp. i was disappointed when i used him though. i assumed he would be very strong, because he was strong in the fight, but he does like 60 damage. of course, he did turn out to be one of my strongest gfs, but not at the begginning.

The first time i defeated him(like in my first time of palying it) i defeated in the train at timber, after i saved in that little room off the side. He was sort of hard, because i was ready for this to happen, but yea i ended up killing him lol!

I beat him with laguna Ward and Kailos.During the flash back it was great.

Same here. Lagunas limit break is a real advantage for so early in the game. Also helps if Kiros has a good supply of cure spells.

I know what you mean. He's awful at the begining.... I was gonna give up on him, but then I though "What if he's stronger later on?" And what do you know? He was!

As soon as I got the lamp I fought him. I just took the advice off the prompt and saved. This was when the game first came out so I had no clue what was happening. He's probably the easiest boss in the game simply because of the demi trick.

ditto, i beat him right after i got the lamp, i have to admit though, he was a VERY hard boss.

imo, the strategy guide didnt help at all for this fight. It just tells you to draw and cast demi on him (with out telligng you about the curaga trick)

i thought the demi trick was the only one.what is the curaga trick?maybe thats why i died so many times trying too beat him.lol.

I beat him as soon as I got the lamp i thought he was too easy for that part in the game.
