haha, as soon as i get the lamp... simple use demi on him, and he will use Curaga on you... i know its cheap, but it works.

GOt the lamp tried to beat him he wooped my but forgot about him leveled up and got stornger then i beat him down

Like Cyanide said, done as soon as gotten, use Demi on him to have him cast Curaga on your party. May be a little cheap, but at least he heals you if you are in need of healing. Demi has to be used from your stock though, so that means you have to draw it from him and then use it on him.

Well, I defeated him twice cause I played it twice. First was at the end of disc1. I used reflect on me and on him. You probably wonder why. On me so when he uses demi he atacks himself and on him cause when he uses curaga he actually uses it on me. The second time it was easier. I used demi on him and he used curaga on me. I defeated him easily cause his lvl depends on yours.

Yeah that's what I did. That flashback you go into right after getting it. I let him cast Demi and Gravija on my guys then I used the limit breakers after casting Demi on him a bit.

Took me a bit to figure that out though, he owned the heck out of me the first time. I was disappointed that he didn't do much damage to conventional enemies, but he was my lifesaver when fighting all the dragons in Bahamut's area(9999 to any dragon enemy). I also loved his Encounter None and Mug!

I beat him right when I got the lamp. The battle is tough then but if you follow the strategy guide and use your GFs a lot it, isn't too bad.

Yup, when i got the lamp. i didnt know about that demi thing so i went the old-fashioned way of throwing all my attacks, magic and GFs onto him!

Diablos destroyed me. Honestly, I have no idea why I found him so hard the first couple of times I played VIII. Curse training Squall and Quistis at the beginning. Squall was a good 10 levels higher than everyone else. I didn't gain him as a GF well into disk three. I had to hire my best friend's brother to beat him for me. ^^* Heehee..
