When did you defeat Diablo?

Well, The first time I played the game, I ignored it then finally challenged Diablos on the third disk, beat him but it was hard. Second time I beat him in Timber, thinking it was going to be hard also, so I stocked up on everything and it was a slice of pie.

if i remember correctly, stocking the demis before casting it on diablos would make him cast curaga on your party... btw, an easy way to beat him is using rinoa's invinsible moon

I fought him in Timber the first time and lost so I never bothered again
The 2nd time I played the game I fought him on the forest owls train and I won

i think its pretty easy to beat him if you are enoght clever.....try to using blind on him,and he cant kill you...because he uses only magic that cant kill you,and physical attacks......easy..no?
I beated him right after i get the lamp

The first time I beat Diablos was right after I got the lamp. And, it just happened to be before I looked up how to beat him easily, so I had no idea about the demi trick or anything. Took me 32 tries, unfortunately I'm persistent.

Right after I got the lamp.It's not hard at all.If you feel like you'll lose you could use the demi/curaga trick or abuse duel or you could even use The End(don't think Rapture would work).Just do the trick where you open the playstation lid till you find it.

**Well I fought Diablos soo many times and lost coz I didnt know what to do!I was probably at level 20 something and I got the lamp from Cid and was curious what it was...what a surprise I tell ya!

*Didn't have a lot of cure spells

*But I finally beat him outside the garden,where I stocked up some cure spells and bought some Hi-Potions.at first man I didnt know you could draw cure from him...it was a waste of time stocking up huh!oh well

trying to beat him in another point i find in my opinion,is useless..
if you can beat him right there and have a chance to raise him up alone..why not

i trained him for hours after defeating him and i think he was in the lv. 40 -50

i defeated him at a pretty low level...I AM SO LUCKY THAT I HAD QUISTIS!!!! she was the only reason i deafeted him...i kept on using he limit breaks...which caused diablos to have lots of status almients...so he kept on missing...and...ya...so on like that later i trained diablos all the way up too lvl 100!!!! it was hard work... but i guess it paid off...lol

As soon as I recieved the lamp, it was rather easy for me.

Defeating diablos in anyway is not easy but first is better
and if you be enough strong you can defeat him later but hard
and if you forget to take him what will happen in final? tooo hard i think

I had a go when i got the lamp but died miserably *oops* lol and forgot to save it :'( but then i got the lamp again and SAVED lol and had another go n i did it that time but only had Squall left with 35 hp *phew* XD

im on disc 2 atm but i cant be bothered to do it yet coz im stuck on the dark aeons on FFX grrr lol

I was so naive, so I used the magic lamp right after Cid gave me. I died. Then I decided not to bother Diablo until I feel strong enough. I beat him after I got Lionheart.
But when I played the game for the 2nd time, I defeated him as soon as I got the lamp. Coz I needed his mug and none-encounter ability. Besides, Diablo's attack is quite helpfull.

Well I beat him a couple of times, 'cause my sister always start to play a new game and I help her through the game, I always beat him right after I get the lamp, but the very fisrt time i did it, it was with Laguna and i used no strategy (no walkthrough either...)

Diablos CAN be a HARD boss IF you don't know how to fight him... I took a look at the mentioned Strategy Guide (which says to draw his Demi and then cast it on him)...
Well it's a good strategy, but it can fail if you aren't strong enough...

The best strategy, and i can say it's 99% effective, 'cause even my sister could beat him, was already mentioned

YEAH! VEEEEEEEEEEERY EASY! He just cast Demi and Gravija that will NEVER kill and a Physical attack (which can kill you...), So you just need to cast blind on him 3-4 times to work, and then just unleash your Limit Breaks or boosted GFs...
