How many times have you played FFVIII?

I've beat FFVIII once. I started playing it again. I've only got about 10 hours in on it. I've been more tied up with FFIX more than anything. The game has already been beaten, now I'm just maxing out my characters and playing Tetra Master.

I'll probably pick back up with FFVIII after I'm finished with IX. Actually, I have a schedule that I'd like to follow...

Max everything out in FFIX
Finish FFVIII
Beat Trema in FFX-2
Finish FFIV
Fill in the entire sphere grid for Lulu in FFX
Replay FFVII

Despite the abyssmal plot and ridiculously easy difficulty, i've finished it a least 10 times. It just has some kind of wierd replay value. I guess its because it doesn't have any particularly long boring bits.

You are soooo right!!!, its such a good game, i beat it 6 times, at full. like you said, its like a need, some in a time . i feel so identified with characters, to me its the best of all.the card game, i love it!!. its a must to play ^_^.

i beat it twice

I've played FFVlll twice. Once without killing Omega Weapon and once with killing it

Iv finished the game about 3 times in full, but now my second disc id scratched rite through the part where it has the gardens fighting grrrrr!
So I'm buying a new copy, and starting all over again, but until it arrives I'll just play another one!
Final Fantasy 8 is the best game that i have played so far!

i never beat the game, i eventually got bored of it, which happened to 99% of the games i owned. i did get to disc four, but still, i never beat it. i just downloaded the ending (and i did that for quite a few other games too)

I'm currently playing through the game for the ninth time.

I plan to go all the way this time. I started Disk 3 last night and I'm just going to go through the storyline quickly until I get the Ragnarok. I got the Lion Heart gunblade yesterday, although Squall is my only character at Level 100 and with a strengh value of 255. I managed to draw 100 Meteors and Flares for Squall, Zell and Quistis from a Ruby Dragon while trying to get Energy Crystals, though I still need to get Ultimas for everyone.

Out of the previous eight playthroughs, I've only gone all the way once. Most of the time got stuck on Adel because I always relied on my GFs.

I didn't start junctioning magic until about my seventh time, and on my eight time my game crashed at the start of Disk 4.

I have only played VIII twice so far. I do play bits and pieces from the game every now and then to remind myself how great the game was!

26 .... still cant beat it.....

I dont now how many times i played it....but i now it was many :-)

I've lost count

Well after restarting the game about 12 times, I have finally made it to disc four. And after I beat it all the way through for the first time I will replay it, and this will continue until I've beaten it 100 times, then I'll probably stop.

iv played the game many many times i used to help my friend beat his and then i would go home and play mine . sumtimes we would finish his together and then i go home and ill keep playing mine so iv been playing it always double i beat the game my self though 6 times
