Favorite Guardian Force(GF)

The best huh. That is a tough one. I like Shiva, and Bahamut. Doomtrain is awesome though. Eden's way strong, and Tonberry is funny to watch. I guess it's between Shiva and Doomtrain.

I pretty much hate all of them, as you have to watch the animation EVERY DAMN TIME, OVER AND OVER!

I hardly ever use them, except in dire emergencies against boss monsters; and you can't even use them in the final battle, because Ultimecia dismisses them. The first time I got to this stage, I did manage to sneak an Eden summon in there.

So, I abstain from voting.

I would have to agree with those who say Diablos looked the coolest but Edin is better for the boost-ness =]

Eden, hands down is my favorite guardian force. Long animation which makes it extremely easy to boost her attack to 9999HP worth of damage and she looks pretty cool. A few others I favor are Shiva, Ifrit, Alexander, Bahamut, Diablos, and Quezecotl.

At the beginning of the game, I found myself using Quezecotl most of the time when I had less GF's. I rarely used Brothers though as the game went on. I forgot what they even do when you summon them. ><

Bahamut! Because its funny using him and watching everything get destroyed.

(Hilarious when you use him on only 1 Fungar)

I think it's both Shiva and Bahamut for me, but I chose Shiva since she attracts my attention more o.o; Plus, she's helped me a LOT of times. Unlike Bahamut, who gives you a hard time before he can actually be used. xP

Shiva is my favourite in any series. Don't know why. I also like Bahamut, but you have to wait a while before getting him, and it's a lot of mucking around.

All of the GF's are awesome. Bahamut rocks in all Final Fanatsy's, but for me in VIII, I would pick Eden just because the animation of it was so beautiful.

Well, Shiva you get right at the start of the game and she always dishes out some nice damage. Follow up would have to be Ifrit. It's one of the only FF designs of him that I like, because he doesn't look like some ugly guy with horns.

I voted for Eden. I was torn between Eden, Cactuar, and Tonberry. They were all pretty cool. Eden was pretty much all powerful, except for limit breaks. Cactuar had a set damage limit and could do 10,000. Finally Tonberry had awesome abilities like Call Shop, Familiar, and others. Most of the GFs in FFVIII were pretty good.
