This game is quite easy, nothing is very difficult. Yes, I am saying omega was easy. He doesn't use terra break untill 10-15th move, so you can easily finish him off before then by casting meltdown, and auro on squall and zell. Then just hail down on him with zell's limit and renzokuken. IIRC lionheart can do 120,000+ and if you are good with duel, you can actually do 430,000 of damage in on duel. Omega doesn't stand a chance

- The Train Mission, before fighting Gero-Gero. Those guards were a real pain in the a**.

- Defeating Omega Weapon without using any holywars/selphie trick. This part is really hard and i wasnt able to beat him.

- Defeating Ellone, Laguna & Quistis in triple triad.

- Acquiring EDEN

- Obel Lake sidequest...talking stones..erghh..

i got lost in finding the lunatic pandora in esthar as well, and i also consider that part one of the hardest and the most annoying. >_<

slashergriever: how can i forget about the card games. quistis was really hard to beat. actually, i've always sucked at the triple triad game, even during the early parts of the game. but i still found it enjoyable!

Ultimecia
Omega

Fighting Malboros or Red Dragons (you have to be at a low level for Red Dragon to count as a hard bit)

I found that finding the white seed ship was the most tedious thing, especially using garden!!! It took me about two hours! And also beating adel he first time around, coz i was really bad first time i played it! I havn't tried beating omega or anything like that yet but i don't think they'll be that hard with my ppl now! owell i'll just have to try!

The hardest parts for me were the first time i faced Ultima WEAPON (I still wasn't sure what the hell i was doing). Omega WEAPON is still on my 'to kill' list (I haven't played the game in quite a while). Malboro's are always a bastard to kill, they've got to have the most damaging Bad Breath attack i've ever seen. Obel lake was annoying too, 'let's try and find the invisible talking people'... I ended up quitting that quest by the time i was halfway through!

Omega weapon was probably the hardest boss as it takes a while to beat him (but i succeded- hurrah!)
Ultimercia is quite tricky on the first try, but i agree with everyone about that lake sidequest being tedious. I really wanted to level up boco, but the playstation pocket never made it to the uk...

I tried the Omega Weapon a few times... No... Never beat it... That's what I think the hardest part is.

To fight Omega you need plenty of curaga; and holy wars which you can get from one of the GFs abilities (i have a feeling it was Tonberry but don't trust me on that one). Use your weakest person (im my case it was Rinoa) to heal your party regurly, prefrably after each omega attack to be safe or if your party isnt that strong. Use your two strong guys (Squall and Zell for me) and just throw all your strong attacks at it; eden, bahamut, limits etc. Use holy wars at regular intervals.

What i also found useful was a combiation of regen, aura and haste. Aura for those limit breaks, and regan and haste for healing. When these are on the party and you become weak, summon eden, as it takes a long time for the animation to run through, by then the party will be healed. hope this helps.
